DevTalk: Love & Lust Points

Today, we want to talk about one of the core systems in Love or Lust: Beach Stories: Love and Lust Points.

When you encounter this system for the first time in the game, you’ll see a small pop-up with a simple explanation. It helps you understand how your choices shape the main character.

At its core, the system is very straightforward:
Every decision you make affects your Love–Lust balance.

Your answers build up Love Points or Lust Points, forming your character’s overall direction: more romantic or more lust-driven. Dialogue options marked with a “+” will add points to the corresponding scale.

These points are not just for flavor.
Your Love and Lust Level unlocks special choices in dialogues and scenes. When a choice requires a certain level, you’ll see that requirement directly on the option.

An important detail:
You’re not locked into just one path. You can collect both Love and Lust Points at the same time. However, different characters respond to other energies.

This system allows the story to respond naturally to how you play, giving your decisions more weight and shaping your personal version of the story.
