Dale's story isn't that complex, but it will depend a lot on the player's observation to successfully complete a mini-game that is present throughout most of the story.

If Dale gives up treatment with you, he will accept his chief's idea of being treated with medication and will be transferred to a more peaceful area. That will be the end of his story
