Dev Update - 2025/10/24

Hey everyone,

This week has been mostly animation and coding work.
The progress in animations can be seen below, the coding stuff... not so much.
I'm planning to add more languages, but when I started developing the game, I didn't have localization in mind.
I kinda hacked in the French translation because I had never dealt with localization before, so the code is pretty... messy.
That wasn't a problem until now, but with the plan of adding more languages, I had to adjust that mess and make it more flexible for future translations.
So quite a bit of time this week went into adjusting the code related to translations (mainly the chapter summaries gave me headaches).
On the positive side of things, it's mostly done now and will work for all possible translations.

Outside of that, I'm pretty close to finishing the current scene.
It's missing a few renders and some coding, but I'll probably be done with that early next week.
So chances are pretty high that the next Dev Log will say that I'm working on the first version of the chapter finale.

The numbers for this week:
43 new static renders for a total of 1647
15 new animations for a total of 24
85 new lines in the script file for a total of 5795
