Haha name him Rodney after Dave. There’s a theory that Trig is much cleverer then he lets on and is just winding everybody up. I’ve known a few lads like that.

R
R · October 23, 2026

The Trotters made them cry again 😅 that's why this show is so loved, it's rare in my opinion to find a comedy show that makes you both laugh and cry 🩷

R
R · October 22, 2026

Raquel did such a good job with the acting here, the perfect actress to play her 🩷

K
Kamen Bingles · October 21, 2026

Your tears do you credit! It's a beautiful ending. The humour, the pathos, the absolute majesty of Del's speech to Damien.

M
Martin · October 19, 2026

Call it Basil, and put it in the next Fawlty Towers

I have come here from the start of youre only fools and horses episode one on another plt frm and ive loved seeing the reactions every week but what I have seen more than anything is the love and bond you two have without you actually saying it to each other and thats when you know its true and you are meant to be together. Ive seen this episode probably in the hundreds and I never cried but seeing Mike watching del boy with damian really hit me .what you two have can not be bought with money its priceless and I wish all the best .HE WHO DARES

I cant wait for tomorrow with Miami Twice! I know fans are divided but its one of my favourites!

A
Adam Egan · October 17, 2026

I did the same thing with my son when he was born, this show is really special

P
Paul Rideout · October 17, 2026

Miami twice tomorrow will it be reaction to the whole thing or part one and two ?

E
Emma Edwards · October 17, 2026

They said they’ll be watching in two parts. The combined version is edited down. We’ll get one tomorrow and the other next week.

G
Gerard McCartan · October 16, 2026

Ahhhhh i can see its head......hes got a full head of hair still chokes me and floors me with laughter. The idea of a big muff coming out of a growler and not realising it was a wig is GOLDEN. John Sullivan You Fuking Genius.

micky · October 15, 2026

Hillingdon Hospital West London. i was born in that Hospital so funny lol

S
SallySpurs · October 15, 2026

The best episode of all, in my opinion. I have probably watched that episode maybe 10 times over the years, and every time I am streaming with tears. Beautiful x

S
Sarah Walker · October 15, 2026

I forever love the line and David Jason's delivery of "Its a little baby, Rodney!!!". Probably the happiest Del has ever been.

T
Tariq Jabbar · October 15, 2026

I'm 46 years old I've seen Only Fools and Horses a thousand times back to back but watching it with you guys it feels like a fresh show and I'm loving this journey of Only fools with you guys... Much love Mike & Jess.

S
SBart_uk - Sim Racing · October 15, 2026

The next 2 in the US (Miami) are absolutely spectacular. It just gets better and better.

P
Paul Tromans · October 14, 2026

That whole hospital scene and the birth was pure comedy gold. One of my fave episodes for sure

T
Talman · October 14, 2026

That definitely has to be up there as one of, if not, the best OFAH episodes. One of the funniest too!

M
Mitch Sole · October 14, 2026

I couldn't even hazard a guess the number of times I have watched only fools from start to finish. But it has been a joy to go through your OFAH journey with you and to see someones first time reaction to the greatest TV show ever written.

W
Widget 100 · October 14, 2026

Thank you for the month's free Patreon! I've just signed up as I love you both. You really get the UK humour and its great to catch up on stuff and see what you think of it. On the day of Princess Diana's funeral back in 1997 the BBC had shown footage all day of the proceedings and it was a really emotional day. Most people felt drained. In the evening they reran this episode of OFAH and it was the perfect choice. The show is so loved that they couldn't have chosen better. The final scene where he shows Damien to his mum and tells him what fun they'll have is pure joy. It makes me cry every time! x

P
PheebHello · October 14, 2026

I do not get the whole joke with Rodney thinking it's the birth of a Satan thing, just more of this series getting on my nerves with Rodney. The only good news was he finally patched things up with Cassandra, but I've seen no evidence they even get on in any episode of the show lol.

p
paul wallis · October 13, 2026

only 7 more left :(

S
Stephen M · October 13, 2026

Dusty Springfield's "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me" playing while Rodney talks about Cassandra splitting up with him is really poigniant.

D
Drew · October 12, 2026

We've got so much more fun and tears from the trotters to come!

C
Chris Smith · October 12, 2026

Can anyone who watches a wider range of shows on this channel than me advise if Mike and Jess react this strongly to any others? I feel like this is now top of the tree :-D

J
Julian · October 13, 2026

They seem to be enjoying all the other shows in the current lineup just as much.

S
Spob · October 12, 2026

What a wonderfull episode, definately 1 of my top 10s. Comedy love drama, great acting. What more do you want, lovely jubbly innit

s
suppliedreedo · October 12, 2026

My mum said this episode was on the TV at the hospital the night I was born

L
Lily · October 12, 2026

I love how they do the callbacks, I just clocked the toupee coming off was the one del sold to his wife😭😭

D
David Baird · October 12, 2026

“Who is it? Friend or enema?” Is a brilliant line - but so is the one that follows, “I’ll go and see who it is, you stay there” 😅

K
Kathy Hills · October 12, 2026

I've only seen this once before, when it actually aired back in the day. So I'd forgotten nearly everything except the final scene at the window, which had me in floods along with you guys. What a great episode. Lovely Jubbley!

I
Iain · October 12, 2026

The last scene in this episode is such a perfect place to end the regular series But you've got some fantastic specials to watch now. You're in for a treat

R
Rob webber · October 12, 2026

It's a little baby rodney....😆😅

S
Sunderland Shorts · October 12, 2026

very funny episode and with the emotion at the end. What brilliant writing, acting and editing.. to have you laughing, laughing, laughing then just turn the dial on you and make you cry on a dime. Just genius.

J
Jack Green · October 12, 2026

Cant wait for the specials coming up

J
John Hastie · October 11, 2026

Beautifulx

N
Nickthegamingnerd · October 11, 2026

How can a man write a 20 minute bit that simultaneously has you crying from laughing and crying because it gets you so emotional. John Sullivan was a genius

N
Nicola · October 11, 2026

Aww that ending always gets me 🥲.. can't wait for the upcoming specials 😬😬

J
Joe Markham · October 11, 2026

I know it's not a new comment but Mike, the way Jess looked at you during those scenes, and the way you reacted thinking about your own life and kids. I think every guy here can relate and say wholeheartedly 'you won, mate'. Keep it up!

R
Rich · October 11, 2026

There's the age old argument about what is worse, being kicked in the balls or giving birth, well, you never hear a bloke say "I wouldn't mind being kicked in the balls again."

A
Adam B · October 11, 2026

Best reaction ever 👏👏😍😍😂😂🥺🥺🇬🇧

P
Paul Brooks · October 11, 2026

You say its coming to an end but there are 10 more episodes. Lots more of the Trotters story to come. Lovely jubbly.

D
Dave · October 11, 2026

40 odd years repeatedly watching this show and still getting something from it. Thank you regeneration nation..

B
Billy · October 11, 2026

Really hope you guys do the part 1 and 2 of The Miami Episodes as one reaction it'd be much better

N
Nexus · October 11, 2026

Great stuff guy's, Absolutely classic episode and the whole birth scene is the best of any comedy shows birth scene. I know it's only a small thing but I'm so glad you had the uncut altered episode and actually got to hear the Omen (Damien Antichrist music) soundtrack because the BBC cheapskates replaced it on newer versions with some rediculous soundtrack and it completely screws the payoff about Rodney thinking the anti christ is being born. OMG I've seen this episode numerous times and never seen that end photo op scene after the titles as normally turned it off by then, glad I listened to your outro😊

G
George Clark · October 11, 2026

Last 20 minutes were absolute genius.

S
Steve · October 11, 2026

As I said last week, I knew both of you would love this episode ... and it didn't disappoint. Tears of JOY!!! Hang on a sec, why am I crying??? Chateau neuf du Pape!

L
Lauren Holloway · October 11, 2026

I've seen this show so many times now, I don't cry to it. Now, I cry when YOU guys cry instead 😭😅

L
Louis Payne · October 11, 2026

Absolute quality watching this again after all these years, and it has been a long time as I'm 55 now! Just brilliant 😁😂😁😂!!!

T
Tabib Khan · October 11, 2026

I've said it various times in the past, but this series was in direct competition with a series called Minder. Minder was the longer running series and inspired OFAH (it started before). Minder has similarities but it's more an action drama with a hint of realistic comedy. This isnt a reaction request, i actually wouldnt care to watch you react to it. It's more like something you guys could watch in the years to come. There are a lot of full length episodes on youtube. It's entertaining, the same london criminal underground, the same wheeler dealer types and the same time period.

R
Rob webber · October 11, 2026

Mike needs to wear a ponytail next episode 😁

D
Danny Upton · October 11, 2026

This is my favourite episode of the whole show. "It's a little baby, Rodney" gets me everytime. Brilliant writing from JS. The hospital scenes have everything.

A
A · October 11, 2026

Aw excellent episode, hope next week we get them both same day back to back 👀 but can’t wait for more Only Fools 🎉

A
Andy R · October 11, 2026

The whole Damien thing was weird to me when it first came out, I had to explain the joke to my parents and I only got it myself because the Omen had been on tv recently and all my mates at school were talking about it. It really seemed to land with you and I think watching it back now as a whole I would put it up there as one of the best episodes.

D
David Bingham · October 11, 2026

Yet another elevation in this comedic journey. I have seen this episode so many times and watching it with you guys has been really special because you reacted just as I reacted when I first watched it. Ths quality of the writing, the acting, the comedy and the pathos is just magnificent. There are some great moments ahead of you as well. ❤️❤️

M
Matt · October 11, 2026

cant agree with you more on that

B
Brían Ó Cionnaith · October 11, 2026

L
Liam Toner · October 11, 2026

Hi there, how are you? Are you going to do the next special in two parts?

E
Emma Edwards · October 11, 2026

Yes it will be in two parts. The combined version is heavily edited.

P
Peaches · October 11, 2026

Mike why are you so shocked about raquel screaming giving birth I thought you had kids! 🤣🤣🤣

I
Ian B · October 11, 2026

What the hell is Mike drinking out of? A barrel? Any drinks container that requires two hands to hold it is too large

M
Matt N · October 11, 2026

It's mad that only fools continues until Damien is a teenager. Obviously via specials not series. But there's still so much to look forward to when it comes to the trotters.

M
Macca C · October 11, 2026

Best reaction ever. Bravo!

D
Daniel Sheargold · October 11, 2026

Honestly OFAH has been great upto this point… they are about to go on a generational run of amazing episodes for the rest of the duration

J
Jimmy · October 11, 2026

I love that Del loves his mum so much.

G
George Clark · October 11, 2026

Some top top one liners in this episode. When Rodney asks about the sex of the baby 🤣🤣🤣

C
Clive Parry · October 11, 2026

“Bloke needs a bit of stodge and fat, to solid things up… Any Doctor will tell you that!” 🤣

C
Col · October 11, 2026

Fantastic reaction guys. That’s the genius of John Sullivan. He really knew how to make you laugh out loud one minute and then really pull at the heartstrings the next. Brilliantly acted too, especially by Sir David.

R
Ryan Mitchell · October 11, 2026

Hahah next episode we gotta see Mike with a ponytail 😂🤣😂

S

J

A
Adam Senior · October 11, 2026

"I ain't had a bit in months" Try 30 years you whiny plonker. I wouldn't mind so much, if I wasn't 30

S
Stuart Hepden · October 11, 2026

Miami twice next! I love it I know it’s one that divides the community it’s like marmite you either love it or hate it

A
Adam Kalaher · October 11, 2026

Non of the cast were parents or had experience of child birth when they filmed this so they had to watch a video of a woman in labour giving birth in real life to give them an idea of how to act it, it made them all sick 🤣🤣

A
Adrian Threlfall · October 11, 2026

Cans of harp larger again!!! God i miss it

P
Patrick · October 11, 2026

I couldn't remember what else happened in this episode until I saw that rats tail hair piece. Can't wait to get to that scene..

T
Tonia Laws · October 11, 2026

David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst are two of the best actors ever in the UK and are acknowledged as such.

J
Josip Buretić · October 11, 2026

Beautiful episode and your reaction was everything I thought it would be ❤️🥹❤️

D
Dan · October 11, 2026

I think episodes like this epitomise the whole "its worth it" that everyone swears by when Americans start reacting to OFAH and are discussing the first seasons and at times are on the shelf about how they feel about it. Everyone says their favourite programme gets better but OFAH does it every single way and even after 7 seasons and 10 years there are STILL some great episodes and great moments to come

C
CorporalFriendlyShark · October 11, 2026

Dave remarking on how Tessa Peake-Jones (Raquel) looks like she really did give birth is all the more impressive given that neither she nor David Jason were parents at that point, so had no real experience of labour. She has said they watched the most nauseating, graphic videoes of childbirth to prepare themselves for filming the scene.

S
Shane Meaney · October 11, 2026

Yesss! My absolute favourite episode of only fools. Chocked full of amazing moments and topped off with Del's beautiful monologue at the end. Near perfect episode 🙏

J
James Ellison · October 11, 2026

Pretty much a perfect episode, especially the ending. It’s lovely seeing others react very emotionally to it.

J
Jon abbeels · October 11, 2026

next episode is a belter too - miami twice

C
CorporalFriendlyShark · October 11, 2026

This is actually the first time I’ve seen this episode since my first child was born 9 months ago. The last 15 minutes hits completely different now, I never used to tear up watching it 😢

L
Liam Robinson · October 11, 2026

Technically you could call this the ending as it was the final episodes of the traditional series. The next 3 specials are amazing. I have been waiting for the next special for months. Great reaction guys as always. Look forward to every Sunday.

E
Erica · October 11, 2026

This episode was my first impression of child birth 😩😆

M
Mark Sanders · October 11, 2026

You will be fine I have 2 daughters it doesn’t hurt at all, my wife on the other hand tells me different but she always says the beauty and joy a child brings outweighs any temporary pain. ❤️

S
SKG · October 11, 2026

Great episode. 25 years watching this show and I catch a new joke every time. Did you guys notice the box of wigs had "crowning glory" written on it and during the Labour scene the midwifes wig fell inbetween Raquels legs as she was crowning. How the hell does John sullivan do it lol

J
Josh · October 11, 2026

I have always wished they got uncle Albert to model the wigs.i never knew there was that little bit at the end.

P
Paul Archibald · October 11, 2026

Brilliant. Loved that. ❤️

P
Paul Cramp · October 11, 2026

Double bubble, hope fully you will get the popcorn and drinks out for the bumper Christmas special……….Go on you know it makes sense……Lovely Jubbly…… Bonjour to you both ……

P
Paul Cramp · October 11, 2026

Good morning Dave and Dave …….The next special is a 2 part special shown back to back

M
Miriam · October 11, 2026

You could end it there - but you'd miss out on the 1996 three christmas specials which are superb! Enjoy them!

J
Jaycee · October 11, 2026

So now they've watched all of the normal episodes how many specials are to come?

K
Karl Worton · October 11, 2026

A perfect reaction to a perfect episode! 👏👏👏

G
Gerard McCartan · October 11, 2026

Just back from an evening with David Jason, he talked about his life. He was 61 when having his first child with his soon to be wife.. In 2023 discovered he fathered a daughter in 1970 and wasn't told by the mother. He met his daughter for the first time, she was 51. Emotional. She grew up watching OFAH not knowing 'Del Boy' the genius actor was actually her dad. Loved this one!!

S
Sarah · October 11, 2026

I have tickets to see this show next June. I'm really looking forward to it

D
Damien · October 11, 2026

What an episode! 🫶 Three men , a woman and a baby is only fools at its absolute best. The writing, the comedy, the emotion… just a perfect episode from start to finish. Having followed you both from the beginning of this journey, seeing your reaction to it genuinely touched me. It’s what makes this show so special and why it’s stood the test of time. And can we just take a moment to appreciate Del and what a great name Damien is! 😂🤣 I mean, you don’t get much better than that! ;-) Looking forward to the rest of the journey! 👏❤️

D
Daz Parker · October 11, 2026

Why was O Fortuna playing the entire time I read this comment?

P
Paul S · October 11, 2026

Amazing episode. One of the best. The birth scene is hilarious 🫣😂 then the ending is just perfect. I think everyone probably thinks when he opens the blinds there will be a full moon and then that music begins 🥹 David Jason is amazing here and Tessa Peak Jones certainly does the birth to perfection 💙

f
fpvxart · October 11, 2026

im crying just coz of the love you both have for each other.

K
Kate H · October 11, 2026

D
Damien · October 11, 2026

Beautiful

t
tony cox · October 11, 2026

Still a few feature length episodes to go.

D
David Long · October 11, 2026

Great reaction guys. Now, the next 2 are specials and you have to watch them back to back. These next 2 were supposed to be an OFAH movie but they decided to split it into 2 specials. Please please watch them back to back

D
Damien · October 11, 2026

It’s long like that but maybe in 2 parts in one day still though?

P
Paul · October 11, 2026

I believe this was initially supposed to be the last episode but because it drew 18million viewers the BBC convinced Sullivan to write another Xmas special “Miami twice” fantastic watch along…

D
David Baird · October 11, 2026

Fantastic episode and reaction! Love reliving these episodes ❤️

D
David Williams · October 11, 2026

From the start of this show the actors have brought so much life to these characters it's difficult to think that Del and Rodney don't exist as real people somewhere, actually they probably do.

G
Gerard McCartan · October 11, 2026

Exactly. They feel real whereas comedies feel like a staged comedy, this one just feels like watching a reality show. John Sullivan, want a genius. Imagine the love and respect he'd have nowadays with social media and doing interviews about his life. The actors were the ones that made it feel real too.

R
Rob Walters · October 11, 2026

Another wicked reaction! I wish they had been able to get the actual music from 'The Omen' to play when Rodney sees Damien (even though I'm sure it would have cost untold money to secure the rights to it) instead of the Old Spice ad music. Jerry Goldsmith's score for the whole Omen trilogy is superb and so much better than 'Oh Fortuna!'.....but never mind x

D
Damien · October 11, 2026

I think this one was much funnier I’m glad they used this one

L
London Celt · October 11, 2026

John Sullivan is such a brilliant writer, the show can jump from hilarious to emotional in the blink of an eye

S
SPAFF · October 11, 2026

I remember your reactions to the first series and waiting for the show to grow on you, now I’m here crying with you! I always find this episode so incredibly moving, probably more than any other in the series, the music accompanying Del’s speech at the end is just perfect. I knew that ending would really get Mike! Thanks for the genuine heartfelt reactions, it’s a joy watching these again with you both :)

M
Michael May · October 11, 2026

Great reaction! It’s a few episodes away, but You might want to look up “Jeremy Beadle” and his tv show “Beadles About” just so you have an idea about it. There’s a great joke coming up in a few episodes that won’t be as funny if you don’t know

J
Jaxon's Jerseys · October 11, 2026

Some of those beadle about episodes were diabolically brilliant, - pure reactions lol, loads of them on YouTube to be found, love it

R
Richard Lees · October 11, 2026

Great end to the tv series.

A
Ash Lee · October 11, 2026

AHH man. I'm gutted this show is nearly ending 😢. I remember the first few episodes and Mike looked like he wasn't enjoying it but everyone kept on saying that it will get better. And now watching you guys really enjoying it makes me happy

J
Jamie · October 11, 2026

There's loads of episodes left. Enough to last us to Christmas :)

A
Alexander Page · October 11, 2026

I love that they got the original TV version with O Fortuna. The moment when Rodney hears “it’s a boy!” just doesn’t hit the same with the new music.

D
Damien · October 11, 2026

💯

M
Martin Close · October 11, 2026

The only thing that was missing from the episode was when he went to the window an didn't talk to Grandad as well

A
Alexander Page · October 11, 2026

When I was younger, I didn’t connect that the midwife is wearing one of Del’s wigs. He says earlier that he sold one to the wife of a man who works at the hospital.

P
Paul S · October 11, 2026

I’ve only just put that together too 🫣

D
Daniel Davies · October 11, 2026

For Damien, since they were filming in the actual hospital, the crew went down to the Maternity Ward and asked the new mothers if one of them would be happy for one of their newborns to play Del’s son. Suffice to say, they weren’t short on volunteers.

J
Joey Martin · October 11, 2026

Unlikely.

D
Daniel Davies · October 11, 2026

Oh my God, you found the original version! It’s playing ‘O Fortuna’ for Damien’s theme instead of the stock music they had to use for the VHS and DVDs.

J
Joe W · October 11, 2026

VHS still has it, but the later DVDs remove it, which is a shame.

C
Caine · October 11, 2026

Do people still comment saying it gets better or do they believe you won't quit now

A
Arlasoft · October 11, 2026

They just want to drown out the bores who can't wait to tell you when a series starts to go down hill, as if they've hit upon some big secret due to their highly sophisticated tastes.

A
AWR93 · October 11, 2026

If it’s a boy they’re naming him Rodney… after Dave 🤣

Can’t stand how insufferable Rodney is in this season. Glad it’s over and we get onto some great specials.

N

S
Stuart Hepden · October 11, 2026

I think it gives a new joy to see someone enjoying something you love.. It’s almost (almost) the same feeling as watching your kids open their Christmas presents when you know what you got them.
