Despite the lack of me in this episode, it is my favourite
I’ve heard Angus is meant to be Professor McLeish from the original April episode in series 2, but Peter Capaldi wasn’t available so they recast and slightly changed the backstory … and bob’s your uncle. Same thing with Toni/Michelle and Sophie’s cousin(s) Barney/Jamie
Possibly my only issue with the writing in Peep Show is in this episode: I refuse to accept that Joe was too young to have heard of the Beastie Boys.

Peak Corrigan episode, absolutely unhinged and ready for the asylum. Every scene in this episode is brilliant, I don't think you two have laughed more during any episode,Mike was all over place laughing. 🥬🥤

It's fantastic to hear that you like the show enough to rewatch it. Besides catching a couple of episodes years ago, I had never seen this show before your reactions and it's become one of my favourite shows. I look forward to it just as much as Only Fools and Horses, which I would never have guessed at the start. I'm gutted it's nearly finished, but I'm going straight back to the beginning when it has. She momentarily became her IT Crowd character when she said "clank clank" 10:35.
Same as you. I remember catching the odd episode around 2005 when I was at uni and my flatmates had it on. I laughed and liked it, so I don’t know why it’s taken me 20 years to watch it, via Mike and Jess’ eyes and reaction. Strange world!

This episode is totally unhinged and psychotic, one of the best IMO.
The Mark eyeshadow thing is hilarious, but as I was watching it again another excuse he could have made for it came to me Why dont you just say you got drunk and fell asleep the previous night and "this idiot" (while you slap Jez round the head) "thought it would be funny to put eyeshadow on me after I passed out". Simple
"We need the obstacle of her being married but we also need her to look like she would not want to be in the same room as him for more than 10 minutes" :L
What an awesome season this is. This is one of the funniest and most chaotic episodes; some people would have had you stop at S05

This episode feels like a fawlty towers episode - carnage just going up and up and the episode goes on

Love this episode. Absolute Peep Show gold and in it's 9th season.
A Moroccan cocktail. A Muslim majority country where alcohol is illegal. Of course, a lot of people do drink, but it’s very taboo. There is a brandy made by Moroccan Jews, and I believe some Amazigh people brew a type of whiskey, but I have never heard of a Moroccan cocktail.
There's lots of moroccan cocktails. It just means they use moroccan flavours or add alcohol to moroccan traditional drinks
One of my favourite episodes. The next string of episodes are incredible. Love you guys.

For me, this has to be in the top 5 best episodes of PS. So many great, quotable lines. Mark: “I have a long and varied list of regrets, Jeremy, but not being pulled off by Pedge isn’t one of them!” Jeremy: “I mean, you like blow jobs, don’t you Mark? Mark: I’m eating a fruit corner, Jeremy.” Absolutely insane episode that’s so good, you don’t even miss the absence of either Johnson or Super Hans!

The first time I watched this episode I had tears from laughing at the eye shadow scenes. A lot of people knock the final series, but it has some hilarious moments
Nothing against the actress, I'm sure she's a lovely lady, but April just seems very... wooden? As in, she doesn't use all of her face when expressing, I noticed the same thing in The IT Crowd episode she's in as well.
She plays awkward well.
