A lot of negativity in the comments. And I understand it to a degree from this episode. Its probably the weakest episode they have done, and while I know season 9 isnt a favourite, it does have some great moments and ties everything up quite nicely by the end. I would also second you looking up "Still Game, That's plenty" when you are done It would be a nice way to round things off. Final bit of info, they are releasing a series of comic style books based on each of the series. 2 have been released so far, with the plan being to release a new one every year until the final series. Nice wee collectors piece.

Now that you've started the last series, at its conclusion you may wish to not that YouTube is still showing a 30-minute BBC Scotland programme called "Still Game - That's Plenty!" which features a watch-along of the last episode with some of the cast and fans of the programme. Well worth a view, although it almost goes without saying that under no circumstances must you watch it until AFTER you have seen the last episode!

des clarke who presented the radio show is an actual radio presenter for scotland and does all the presenting for hogmanay etc, thought it was a nice touch!

I forgot how bad season 9 is. Make sure you react to the original Still Game live stage show from 1999 at Cottiers Theatre in 1999. It's on YouTube and is hilarious.

Well... this is it... the final season :(

This was one series too far as the quality of the writing and comedy took a massive drop. Not many people cared for this last series and it is easy to see why.

Sad that it is ending but I think by series 9 it was done :( ... have loved watching your reactions to this and Only Fools but that is the only 2 I like. Folk who come on and moan about reactions need to stop. IF YA DON'T LIKE IT THEN DON'T WACTH IT but keep it to yirself. Daz fi Scotland.

I didn't watch it when it first came out - I think I was living abroad. I've loved it, really enjoyed it. The characters are excellent. I'll be sad when it's finished.

Public demand kept bringing this show back and well deserved it was, my dad loves it also, nuff said 🙂. Two doors down is the other Scottish comedy I loved, slower burn but still hilarious.. anyway, sad it’s the last season.. thanks for running with it and cheers for the reactions 🙏

Series 9 ?? Jesus please end soon. I like the show, but the makers are kicking the ass out of it now. No tv programme should run more than 5 series imo. Life’s too short.
