Hello. As always, thank you for reading. When I get too into my own comics, I start thinking way too big. Greatures and its Tournament Arc was not the first time this has happened; This dog loves going in circles. And when some work of mine gets a little bigger and longer, it starts to feel like it’

I will just post this and call it done. Thank you.

Well that's that, I guess! Congrats to Grandma! But seriously folks, we are at the precipice of the finale here. A Single digit sum remains of pages. Which is probably gonna take me a week or so to knock out. Good thing I got nothin' better to do! Unless I got the random transmission to show you, I'

Dammn, this is tense! Even the Liar is smearin' in suspense!

Uh-oh, dude. The Greatures just take it, broh. Whatever comes, comes. Whatever happens, happens. How do they live like this, broh?? And who'd do it to them??

I'm pretty sure that's a normal response. I don't think anything weird is gonna come from that answer.

Everyone's pushin' buttons in this update.

Ripped in peach, George Lowe.

Folks, interesting news to me and maybe to you: I have done the hardest part of making a long comic and finished WRITING the rest of this story arc. THAT part is always the hardest for me. Drawing? Coloring? Pssshh. That's kid's stuff. That's mindless activities for my smooth, little marble-brain. I

Giddy-up, folks

A quick one-on-one with the Bully and Cigarette, who is the only Greature the Bully respects. Anyway.

Welcome back everyone! I see our destination, the end of this arc. I must level out and fly right. You can keep your tray tables out for now, but be ready in case of sudden turbulence. This pubby got's poweber. I'm running out of runway to land this joke. Eugh... OH ALSO: The Greatures Kickstarter i

OWTCH! Das' gonna leave a mark! Quite possibly the last update until next week. I'm traveling to the SPX Small Press Expo (Sept 12 & 13th) to visit and bug other cartoonists. I DO NOT HAVE A TABLE at the show. But if you're going and will be there and find me, I will have stickers I'll be handing ou

Where they yoinging off to? Well to a bigger update, for one.

Cigarette be yellin'. She's all "aaaaa!" Dat's her yellin'.

Cigarette's got the berserk-strength when wielding such a slab of iron. That's just how it is with Greatures! I don't make the rules, I only draw them.

YeeeowtcH! That's gotta smart! I have more of the story written, but not yet drawn. But today I would like to do the original art drawings for the Kickstarter! So might be late this week when we get back to the Bully's Caved-in Chest arc. Really gotta land this Cigarette fight before the finale begi

Needed to let this part sing a little longer with 4 pages, while I reintroduce Cigarette's big sword for the next part of the fight. Maneater Mildred, eat your heart out!!!

Of course the Liar had sex with Bugs Bunny. Don't even form the question in your head, cus you know the answer already.

Dis chicken in whacky (prone to whack something or someone with her mallet).

I didn't wanna waste anymore time waiting. I wanted to get back to Greatures.

Available right now on my Topatoco store: POSTERS! Some of my favorite stand-alone Greatures drawings from the past 2 years, now available in 3 sizes! Printed on Demand on semi-glossy paper! Get 'em signed by me or not at all! Come and support these Greatures, please! On top of that, we have a shirt

That's half-time, folks! I'm taking a damn break from this whole comic. Need to rest my hands and fingers/thumbs. I'll be taking a couple weeks off to see family and relax my digits. We'll get back on the Tournament Arc in middle of August. Thanks for reading!

A nice and quiet look at the Greatures book. I got in a couple of early copies from the printer and wanted to show it off. Kickstarter doesn't seem to allow uploading videos, so let's put it up here. Wow! The KS goal has been reached and there are two days left to get in on an original art tier or g

The next update will finish this bout and then I'll be off for a week after that while I visit family for da summer. During that time, I hope to layout the remainder of this friggin' story arc! This thing is taking up too much of my summer, sheeeeeeeeesh edit: fixed typo

It's up to the listener to decide if they believe any of it, honestly.

Some early in the year sketches as the Tournament Arc was gaining momentum in my mind when I added the concept of The Owner turning into a greature and being forced to participate in the Tourney. As with all new greatures, I tend to draw them along side tried-and-true G's to see how they might look,

I miscounted last time I talked to you, and it was actually just 6 pages this next update right here. Please forgive me!!!!! Kickstarter for Greatures, Level One, the first collection, will begin this Thursday.

Mud might have a similar moveset to a certain Clayfighter, but I won't tell anyone if you don't. Please don't tell anyone, they'll eat my ass alive...

I don't hate throwing away three pages for one update like this... I, in fact, love doing so. I love doing it so much, that I'm gonna take some time to work on another Big update instead of pushing out one or two pages 3 times a week! It was hurting me physically to try to push myself like that agai

Last Place can't even reference the same thing over and over again correctly. I'm done with him! Dirt: kill him.

Might be a short fight (cus they're both small kings).

The crowd is thirsty for Dirt, moistened with the blood of L.P.

Who wants to wait? We gotta get to the good shit as-soon-as-possible here at the Greatures Tournament Arc.

Oh!!! Grottie goes down! SUCKED TO DEATH!! Grandma gets to drop the one f-bomb per greatures arc. She's PG-13, baby!

Cover reveal, poof Book ready, getting print quote, setting up kickstarter. These are the steps that are next. It will collect all strips and extras from #1 to #140 (the finale to the Small Mario arc). Extras are the non-numbered strips that are in the archive. Several pages of doodles litter the bo

Oh, it was very important to me to label that teat.

Oh, Rona and the Stranger wore the same thang, oh HOW embarrassing .

Had drawn this weeks ago but kept forgetting to color the dang thing. It's a new header for the patreon, and what will be used for the cover of Greatures volume 1. The size of the book won't be this shape, but it will be on the front. Got to get my rear in gear getting the book ready. It used to be

The Gregg Brigade is here to help with clean-up!

Ohhhh, that's ONE greature down.... Dead and gone forever..... just kiddin, Doppelgänger is not dead, but they are out of the running.

OH YOU CAN'T SUCK A HOLE EITHER, MAN

We're going two-pages-mode for da fights. Any time a page is engaging but feels like just a set up for the next, I gotta go double. I'm a pain-piggy in that respect.

Possibly my favorite little line in that last panel there.

The real arc starts, tho it's still overtly about the Owner. In any case, all your friends are here, including some hospitable faces in the crowd.

First thing's first: This is Fine MAXIMUM COPE is out now on all current platforms! I hope you enjoy it, it's a fun little game I think. I can't wait to see speedruns of it. Secondly: Yes. Cigarette is correct. This is the beginning of the Greatures Tournament Arc. It's gonna be a doozy. However, th

That was actually the "boring explanation" alarm that went off.

Wuh-oh! A new friend has entered the fray! What the hell are we gonna do about this!!

Folks, it's time for a story. And it's gonna be a long one. Buckgle up

Dirt and the Shnail attend Greatures Bible School where they learn to serve the narrative more good better. edit: wrong word fixed in panel 2
