Naked to the dangers around you, the horrors behind every corner implicate yielding to hostile forces.
Barely armed, possessing minimal knowledge of the threat at hand and unable to determine comrade from enemy, you're left stranded, isolated and abandoned to fend for yourself in the decaying halls of a less than equipped station left to rot.

Where the hell is evac? Where did all of these bugs come from and how did no one see them coming?

This is my first ever Scenario and utilized heavy modding during it's development.
It is not your standard scenario and does not represent Terran Command's gameplay and I can guarantee it's one of a kind.

Play as a single trooper the entire game through and navigate deadly halls facing against equally treacherous horrors. The threat is unforgiving and so should you be!
Befriend comrades and don't risk going it alone with a unique party-system!
.... Or say the wrong thing and you may end up making a new enemy with special interactions and choices in dialogue.


Who's friend and who's foe?

Starship Troopers Decadence is a full game in itself, standing with 10 possible different endings! Some endings restricted unless you've gotten others and fulfilled certain requirements. Try getting them all, as this scenario has a VERY detailed and content-thick storyline you can piece together with each ending and game-path.... And more... ;)


Federal Unit Manager Features

ST Decadence utilized Federal Unit Manager's brand new features!
This includes the new Achievements system as well as Scenario installing. Be sure to install Federal Unit Manager, as it's a requirement to play this scenario.

Achievements and Unlockables

The brand new Achievement System implemented into Federal Unit Manager is a very important feature to this Scenario!
ST Decadence has 47 fun and unique Achievements to acquire!
These aren't just for show, either! Each Achievement unlocks Circuit(╤) which is used to purchase unlockables which will unlock in the scenario. For example: Unlocking more lives, better weapons or even a completely new game mode!

There's also another, super secret area....


You can play without Achievements but make sure you play with Achievements on or else which endings you've acquired and other progression data won't save (due to Terran Command limitations) which will block you from enjoying everything the scenario has to offer, such as special endings.


Statistics

For those of you who'd like to know, here are some statics about this Scenario...
Firstly, the size of my Scenario. The **Largest** Official Scenario Trigger file is Kwalasha Prison. Standing at 3.06Mb with 78,483 lines of trigger file code.
Starship Troopers Decadence, however, has a 22.5Mb Trigger File with 509,248 lines of Trigger file code.
This Scenario has 1,205 Triggers.
I think this HAS to be a new record for Scenario Triggers... right?

How To Install

This is important as the installation may be a bit different than what you're used to. Please follow these steps carefully if you wish to allow Achievements to work properly. I recommend you watch LionStein's video linked above but here's a text version:

  • Download Starship Troopers Decadence.zip

  • Simply drag the ENTIRE ZIP file to FUM_Data/Scenarios. Do not decompress it's contents.

  • Once it's there, open Federal Unit Manager and navigate to Settings > Manage Scenario.

  • Press Starship Troopers Decadence then press Install.

  • Click "Install Modpacks" on the front screen.

  • Find ST Decadence Prerequisites and press Install. A window may ask you to Overwrite, if so, press Overwrite.

  • It should say "Modpack successfully installed." Now THIS NEXT STEP IS IMPORTANT. Press "Save Changes" then press "Save All Files". It'll load and apply your installed Modpacks and changes. When it finishes you can close Federal Unit Manager and launch Terran Command!


BONUS

You can click "Achievements" in Federal Unit Manager to track your Achievement progress for Starship Troopers Decadence.
