Case Log #42 Ch6
I have started my two favorite jobs to fail at. Animations and coding. By the time the animations are done, the coding will also be finished. I'm hoping to finish coding ahead of the animations, so that I can have the chapter proofread and then just drop the chapter. I was kind of hoping to be done with everything this Wednesday, but lost 4 days of AVN work to my actual job. I keep plugging along, thinking of ways to speed up the process.
I have today and tomorrow to work on the animations. The goal is to finish one scene and get one, maybe two poses done on the second of three. It's a little aggravating when you know there are ways to make the animations excellent. It's a lot of work for average. I would settle for good. It's the little things that are missing. I'll take a look at some plugins that seem like they would increase the quality of the animations when I'm not pushing to finish a chapter. The plan is still to replace almost all of the animations right before the release of chapter 10. I'm doing a little research on AI help for this purpose, but I'm not sold on it unless it can be seamless and maintain the look of the characters. That's really it for now.

As always, appreciate your replies. It's possible to make decent animations in DAZ, but there is a real disconnect between movement and functional body physics. I would like to add real body reactions. Body physics on impact, and that is a little trickier with daz only.
