Case Log #41 Ch6
Alright! I skipped last Sunday's log. Mainly because nothing much had happened, and I wasn't in the mood for a rant. To be honest, I love a good rant when it's justified, but nothing major has gone wrong in a while and I can't just make shit up. Well, I guess I'm making this whole story up (Pecker P.I.), but real shit. Not so interested. The really good news is that all the still renders are complete! Finally! It's been a journey for me that I didn't quite sign up for. Yes, you are correct, I did decide to create this thing, but I never envisioned that it would become what chapter 6 became. I'm hoping that the chapter isn't disappointing to you, the audience. Honestly, it's the first time I feel insecure about the chapter that is about to be released. Maybe because it's been such an up and down journey...oh, come on! I can write up and down without you all getting excited for the wrong reason:-) It may just be a residual effect of my struggles with the last portion of the chapter. Maybe it's just that I want to deliver something great and the time it has taken isn't reflected in the final product? Who knows. Sounds like a me problem.
The chapter lands in the neighborhood of 2,400 renders (but still counting a bunch of spot renders). Somewhere close to 18000 words...most of them being complete nonsense.
If I have the energy, I will start the animations tonight. I will also get serious about coding. I've tried during this long process, but I haven't been able to motivate myself to do so for very meaningful periods. Coding, the thing that is just a conveyer belt process...and did I mention that I despise it? Good thing it is also by far the least time-consuming part. Not that it won't take any time, be grueling and mind-numbing...really setting myself up for a good time here, huh?
Anyway. This is one small step for me, one giant leap...okay, let's not go crazy. There won't be any preview renders next week or two as I finish the chapter. I'm sure you can live with that. I am excited to be on the homestretch and looking forward to the next silly chapter.

It doesnt matter what you do brother, my Philosophie is do it 100% or leave it…that belongs to all things in life…no matter what… Nothing silly about that, i like AVNs…and i dont make a secret about it, my Teammembers sometimes make Jokes about it, but with over 50 i can keep up with them, so this doesnt escalate because i have their respect…

Why do you think you can dissappoint us ? Look at your stunning work so far, so i highly doubt this would be possible… The only thing you could do to let that happen is quitting… And i am sure you are no quitter, only weak people quit…i learned that from 35 years of Military Experience… So take care, what everyone must do from time to time is to refill your batteries… We are good and we are here to stay, as long as you let us ! 🫡💯👊
As always, you are too kind. I actually take entertainment pretty seriously (silly, I know:-). It happens to be my day job as well (not going to go into detail for obvious reasons), and if I can bring some sort of emotional response, or even happiness, I'm all in. I don't blame people who quit this, knowing the workload that is required to even field a product that isn't complete shit. But you are correct in that I won't quit. Appreciate you!
