VaM 1.20.77.8 Patch Released
This is a very small update to fix some plugins that stopped working with the latest security restrictions. This fix works by opening a small specific set of safe classes dll-type plugins need to work. A specific example that is fixed by this is the Realtime Lipsync plugin that can be found on the Hub. Also fixed a minor bug that was reported on the bug reports forum on the Hub yesterday.
Getting This Release:
If you already have VaM and would like to update to 1.20.77.8, simply launch VaM_Updater.exe, and click button at bottom to update. If you don't yet have VaM, see the download post here:

I cant install any of the versions because it keeps saying it cant find a path. Any solutions?
hey i noticed my full body trackers show up in game, is there any way to use them?
I can't download it. Install fails after trying to download "DJ.TanLines.1.var" and after retrying multiple times, the download freezes. This is a new install, btw.
The current updater has an issue if you have unpacked one of the included var files, which is most likely the issue you are experiencing here. You can resolve this my going into your AddonPackages folder inside the VaM install, and moving the DJ.TanLines.1.var folder to another name or delete it if you had not made any local changes after unpacking. This will allow the updater to continue.
Is there a way to download this over my phone? It's significantly faster than the hotspot on my phone, as my service throttles hotspot usage
The updater is currently the only way to download. The full download is over 16GB.
I just updated to the last version. Everything I had, it's gone. EVERYTHING! Is there a way to get it back? I don't see a point in starting all over with everything I worked on. I'd be out.
The updater doesn't overwrite anything you had, so I would double check to make sure you installed in the same folder. You may now have a 2nd copy of VaM, possibly in the subfolder of another. The updater only overwrites official files.
Don't announce security fixes.
If I don't announce security fixes, users might not update or realize there could be a security issue. I did not announce specifics to prevent malicious users from taking advantage of anything. And this release is a relaxation of a broad restriction that I put in place that restricted something that was not a security issue but prevented specific types of plugins from working.
