Hello everyone,
first of all I wanted to thank you for your responses on my last post. I was surprised by the amount of good will and understanding from your part, and I deeply appreciate it. Some of you said I shouldn't suspend charges for this next month, but I really feel it's the right thing to do and I had already made the choice before writing about it. I've already activated the billing pause for this month, and this is what Patreon says about it:
"Your active patrons will not be billed on March 1. Billing will resume on April 1. If you have Charge Up Front enabled, new patrons that sign up will be charged."
Now, onto the good news! After my last post I've been feeling better, both physically and mentally. I no longer have any COVID symptoms and I've been going back to my usual work output. Right now I'm focusing on finishing all the new assets that I want to incorporate and I've almost completed all the tweaks and new scenes I wanted to add to the current 9 chapters. I get new ideas that I think would really improve the current content and state of the game, but I have to draw the line at some point and settle for good enough instead of perfect, so that's where I am now.
All that's left is to revamp chapter 1, color some of the new artwork, and make sure all the changes are consistent and the game is bug-free, so hopefully we can get everything done soon, move onto the Steam release and swiftly into chapter 10.
I've been keeping away from social platforms to help myself get back my focus and knock over all the tasks I have to take care directly, so I apologize for the lousy communication. I'll make to keep you posted with consistent development news until the new update is out. Thanks again for your trust and support!

Glad you are feeling better. Looking forward to the next chapter. Are we gonna get any sex scenes between Lena and Stan? Or maybe now that Lena has slept with Jeremy he will manage to get her into having sex with him and one or more of his friends at the same time like he did with Alison?
Since Stan the Man is going to be her new possible LI, the sex scenes with them are pretty safe bet.

So glad to hear your feeling better Eva, please dont overwork yourself, glad to hear your settling for good not perfect, especially given you release the chapters in 3 versions(alpha,beta and full release) it gives you plenty of time to improve what you wish. thanks for the update Eva :)
Glad to hear you feel better :) . I am really thrilled about playing the updated version. Depending on how much lines you changed, it might be like a partly new game ;) . Anyone played Gothic II? They had an addon, Night Of The Raven, that integrated perfectly in the role playing world, adding new plots, twists, NPCs, but also giving the old NPCs new dialogue options and did not add much (any?) new locations, but used "empty" spaces in the old map perfectly or redesignes them. Really loved how it enhanced the original perfectly and did not feel just "attached" or added at the end. Of course, the ORS-revamp will not include that much, but maybe it can add a little "new" feeling to one or two scenes. By the way: The Steam version. Is this "pay once, get all updates free?" If so, will this really be more lucrative? Or will it direct people away from patreon, where they generate a steady income?
I suppose it will look similar to BaDIK: it will get DLCs with another i.e. 5-6 chapters.
I am really waiting for this enhanced edition of ORS to buy on steam and just want to say I enjoy so much being some part of this creation. Wish you Eva to all be good soon!
I am just curious: What's the benefit of the Steam-version for players that makes you waiting for it? Auto-Update? I rather control the updates myself, especially now that we will have 2 Versions of the game. When it gets banned because of to lewd content, I still have the older versions, too, as well as being able to play the version with the "only real" Stan ;) . On Eva's side, I see the advantage: Far more customers.
