Chapter 9 weekly status report (4)
Work has been progressing OK this past week. I've finished writing one of the major setpieces of this chapter, which gives me some confidence moving forward, and the drawings are 95% done.
I've also been working with my programmer on coding and optimization, and the scene gallery is fully functional. I need to create new UI layouts and assets for it, which I hope to do during the upcoming days, but right now writing takes priority. Also, the Ui animations are now more sleek and the images have been converted to .webp format, cutting the weight of the game about 70%.
7 new OST pieces are being worked at, and I've also made a few small random updates that I'll be sharing with you guys soon.
All in all, Chapter 9 is finally starting to take shape. I will continue my work and keep you posted. I will reveal the name of this chapter in the next status update.

I wanna ask 'when' (like it's a sure thing and bound to happen) but since there's been barely any hints that this'll happen, when is Stan gonna have a go with Lena? Personally I think it should've happened either during the first nude photo shoot or when she danced for him. Hell, even when she found him whacking it to her photos! There's something about a guy being blessed with fucking a girl way out of his league that is not only commical but also well deserved. Everyone supports and underdog like 'you go son! I can't believe it but well done!' Also, it gives the rest of us hope hahah!

Nice to hear that you archieved your goals for this week. .webp ? A Google-format - hope, you keep the originals and have checked the image quality with the new encoder. Even Google only claims a 35% size-gain over jpeg on the same level of quality. You aimed for 70% gain, which sounds ... dangerous. Your pictures are art :) - I would cry if they were badly compressed. Or is this the total gain with all optimisations, not one webp instead of jpeg? You already have good music and now 7 more tracks? You are spoiling us ;) . I am eager to hear them :) .
I'm glad to hear that everything goes according to plan. I'm very curious about new music and changes made to UI.
