Character design (Jeremy)
Same as with Lena, I wanted Ian to have several friends that would pull him in different directions. Jeremy contrasts sharply with Perry: he's a merry and outgoing player, a guy who is mostly interested in going after girls and is not ashamed of it. His social spheres are very different too, he's into clubbing, fitness and nightlife. Jeremy has quite a polarising personality though, and if the player is not too aligned with his outlook in life tensions can arise, so I guess some of you will think Jeremy's a cool dude while others will think he's a bit of a jerk!
At the beginning Jeremy's design was a lot like Kevin's in GGGB, but I decided to change him and make him black to have a more racially diverse cast. Besides, Tyrone was one of the most popular characters in GGGB, but he was a walking stereotype. This time I wanted Jeremy to be defined by more than just his ethnicity, hopefully creating a more intricate and believable character. He has the potential to create quite a ruckus in the story!

I'm happy for Jeremy to have worked himself into shape and be successful at what he loves to do - but I think he needs to work on his maturity as well as his muscle. I'm on Team Louise, personally. Some significant others are perfectly ok with behavior like Jeremy's, but many are not; as usual, lack of communication is the mother of all trouble. I look forward to finding out whether Louise is going to go ballistic on him, or what her reaction will be otherwise.
At the expense of race, I think this is the right idea to make Jeremy black. Sometimes it's good to diversify the game with something.
Honestly the only thing that he did to me that was crossing the line was telling Alison about Lena. If you tell the girls he was out with another girl he gets mad. Yet he brings up you seeing Lena right in front of Alison. Him having a friendly rivalry with Ian would've been fun if they had a code and an understanding. Practice what you preach dude!
You’re absolutely right, I thought Jeremy only did that if Ian ratted on him before, but the truth is he does it no matter what. A bit of foul play there on Jeremy’s side.
Does anyone face Cherry_Stockings error on MacOS? The scene in bar cannot be played, tried both Alpha and Beta versions.
I like him :) I want him to stir up the story
He seemed like an ok guy, but is it me or are his arms just a little too long? In some images they look wrong
He does seem to have long arms, but not in an unnatural way I think. Take a look at Michael Phelps body proportions, for example.
I like him and that he can be both a bro and something of a rival to Ian. He reminds me of some past and current friendships, too, in the sense that he was a nerd once but at least now claims to be different. Could be that he's still a nerd but is hiding it because he so desperately wants to be "cool", for example. I find it funny when someone claims to have outgrown a hobby, but then they log in to Steam and you see that they have 15000 hours in Dota2.
I liked Jeremy too in this chapter and can’t understand the backslash he is getting. As far as I know the Bro Code doesn’t include calling dibs on every hot girl you’ve met, and with Alison (or what the heck, even Lena) not being in any relationship –and most important: in any relationship with Ian- she was fair game and Jeremy didn’t do anything wrong, let the best man win and all that. For the moment, of course… Not so sure about what he’ll do next, heh.
I really liked Jeremy in this chapter and thought him actively hitting on Alison even if Ian had expressed interest in her was this believable source for friction without going overboard. Really well done and even ended up enhancing the Ian/Allison story.
Same here. She had expressed interest in both Ian and Jeremy, which meant that you had to fight for it (if you wanted to). Not like she was in a dedicated relationship or anything.
Oh, after ch2, i hate him 😠 If he even tries to go after Lena, he is DONE! Btw Eva, amazing job on the game, you rock girl 👍😎
I think it would make sense for Ian with high enough charisma or friendship points with Jeremy to be able to call dibs!
