Chapter 15.2 Status Report (4)
I’m continuing to make progress on the different aspects of the update.
As for the script, I ultimately decided to add those secondary scenes I wasn’t entirely sure about. I think they fit well here and provide some necessary development. I’ve been working on them and hope to finish them over the next few days. After that, all that will be left to write is the final scene and climax of the chapter.
Regarding the art, all the drawings are done, including those for the extra scene, and have been sent to the colorist. I’ve also been editing some of them, and around 60% are now completely finished and exported.
This has allowed me to start playtesting the chapter and fixing all the game-crashing bugs present in the raw script. Now it’s a matter of continuing to test as I finish writing the update and edit and finalize the remaining illustrations.

On another note, and given where we are right now, I felt like talking a little about the upcoming GTA VI! I’ve played almost every game in the series, starting with the original on PS1, which I discovered when I was just a kid thanks to one of those demo discs that used to come with gaming magazines back in the day.
Despite the countless hours I’ve poured into the series, I honestly hadn’t looked into the upcoming game much at all, and the trailers that are out have really surprised me. In GTA V we could switch between different characters, but for the first time in the series we’ll be able to play as a female character; and not only that, but she seems to be romantically involved with the other playable character… almost like in Our Red String!
I wonder how far they’ll go in incorporating gameplay mechanics into the romantic relationship between the two characters. Will we be able to make choices that affect their relationship, create drama, build a romance…? I’m really curious to see whether there’ll be any overlap between the GTA formula and the genre of games I make.
A crossover between GTA and ORS? How cool would that be?

Given that you're a big fan of the GTA series having a criminal underworld setting for your next game might be a fun idea. The variety of options you could have between balancing character relationships as well different gang connections could make for interesting storytelling.

Nah. Trying so hard to look like Marvin from Fleeting Iris but it doesnt fit that ''ugly bastard'' role. Not fat enough, not old enough ''brown hair meanwhile his wife is like 60 lol, and is kinda HANDSOME. Old (married) character trying to hit on a 21 woman, he's CLEARLY A PERV, but at the same time the desing doesnt tell me anything, making him look like a decent person. Mike is a yonky, and a Dj that spend most of his time on nightclubs and looks like a model from Zara :S

ORS is much better than GTA tho. I don't like GTA aesthetics and your characters are better. pound for pound. Afaik, GTA 6 is gonna be more about the MC's having a Bonnie and Clyde relationship, so no drama and no cheating. Would've been great if there could be more drama; guess we just have to wait and see.

I hope you enjoy the new GTA VI trailer that releases later today. Clearly, we need a character that looks like Lucia from GTA VI in ORS. It sounds like you're making good progress on the update. I'm looking forward to it.
What i love about Red String is the different choices we can make, whenever Ian or Lena end up together or they find a different partner to love, be understanding or be mean there is not wrong option it just depends of how we see things.

From what I’ve read, GTA VI is set to feature a morality system similar to that in RDR2. This is said to influence the relationship between the two characters, as well as the various chapters and, possibly, the ending.
No, I didn't punch Wade. I want Wade and Cindy together, like I said to Cindy I want her to cheat not break up. Hope their relationship can be fixed and Ian can play with Cindy by sneaking around which is the whole appeal to me.
Our Red String >> GTA VI
When it comes to GTA, a romantic subplot that can go in various directions based on our choices is a must-have. Even in cyberpunk, it added much-needed extra feeling and emotion to the game. I hope Rockstars will devote a lot of time to this aspect. Regards
I didn't think about that until now. GTA: ORS would be an amazing game. But my guess is when we get to the release of GTA VI you might be taking a 1-2 week break huh? Gotta enjoy the game on launch.

And of course I'm hoping that in the new GTA game I can be rid of the male MC or the relationship with him at least, so I can go and work the strip club with the female character in peace~
