Character popularity contest results!
I wrapped up the female NPC popularity poll a few days ago, but I hadn’t had the time to post about it until now. Let’s take a look at the results!
Multiple Vote Poll
In the multiple-choice poll, the same trio takes the podium as last time. The undisputed queen is once again Cindy, followed at some distance by Holly, with Ivy in third place at about half the votes of number one. However, Emma has been gaining ground fast, and at the start of the poll she was even ahead of Ivy! She ends up in fourth place, only a few votes behind the silver-haired diva.
Alison solidifies her position ahead of the other girls, and Minerva climbs a few spots. The grumpy MILF has been winning over quite a few fans, and I’m happy for her. Gillian, despite still having fairly limited appearances, is starting to attract a lot of interest, and even Louise ends up a few votes behind her.
Zarina made quite an impression with her recent appearance in Chapter 14, and bringing up the rear are Jess and Cherry, separated by just a single vote. Poor Cherry! She was never at the top, but she’s fallen to the very bottom of the list. Still, I hope you enjoy her.
Single Vote Poll
The single-choice poll, on the other hand, brought some new and unexpected results! For the first time, Cindy doesn’t top the ranking: she’s been dethroned by Holly. Maybe it’s because her character can develop in very different ways, both with Ian and with Lena and Ivy, but I’m glad to see her routes have so many fans. Still, Cindy isn’t far behind in second place.
This isn’t the only upset, and even more surprising to me is that Emma has managed to take third place from Ivy, and by nearly double the margin! I must be doing something right with her character, and I’m glad you like her. Ivy ends up in fourth place, even though I thought her popularity would be higher than ever after her latest scene. It’s great to see the other characters are just as strong.
Alison and Minerva hold their positions in the middle (which is no small feat)and this time Cherry manages to shine a bit more, outperforming the other girls. Zarina comes in last with 2% of the votes, which isn’t bad at all considering she’s only appeared in the latest chapter.
All in all, it’s been interesting to see where your preferences lie and which characters you’re most interested in. I always hope to create new scenes that can shake up these rankings, but that’s ultimately up to you. What do you think of the results? Did they surprise you as much as they did me? And for those of you who are fans of the lower-ranked girls, don’t worry: I’m a fan of them too, and they’ll keep getting their share of the spotlight in the game. I’m reading you!

Very interesting to see the results! I'm already (perhaps like poor Ian) incredibly obsessed with Gillian and their unhealthy but irresistible dynamic. Her design is also drop dead gorgeous. Hoping to see lots more of her!
Ivy fell behind Emma cause she has only 1 shitty scene compared to Emma who has like 20. No disrespect but that's the reason why

Great poll! I voted for Holly since her chemistry with Lena and Ian was something else—a total revelation. Honestly though, I can’t wait for Gillian’s storyline! It’s going to be insane!
I wonder if Cherry is so low because she had no content for a while, or is she just not that popular?
I really like Allison. She ended up in 5th place both times. She also has a lot of untapped potential. I’d like to see her more often, and she could also hang out with Ian more often, both in the vanilla and NTS routes. I think it would be worth expanding this to include a cuckold / NTR paths as well.
I got so lucky getting the throuple, and I absolutely adore all 3 of them. Holly was my favourite anyway, but being able to date both her and Ian? absolute PEAK.
I don't understand why Cherry is so low in the rankings. She simply hasn't had the right opportunity to shine yet. I hope that changes soon. Because for me, she, along with Emma and Minvera, is one of the top three female characters.

My only problem is that i love all the characters in Our Red String, they all have their good things and bad things which makes them relatable to the player from time to time... But if i have to pick a character to relate it has to be Jessica (The Good Girl) someone that at first was down in the abyss and was self destructive with drugs only wanting to have fun... And yet she was able to turn her life around thanks to Ashley (Im talking about the protagonist of Good Girl Gone Bad) that did not give up on her and wanted to be there for her, which resulted in Jessica following her dreams of becoming an artist. Sorry if my comment has to much text but i wanted to say my piece and opinion.

I think Emma and Minerva deserve more praise in my opinion , I truly believe their potential storylines with ian are very high and there’s so much opportunities to write it out. Like let’s say for Minerva and Ian; Minerva is on a trip with her family and she secretly pays for Ian to fly out to meet her, just a possibility. But also let’s not forget that Emma and Lena storyline has high potential as well.

Well-deserved win for Cindy, she has INSANE potential with Ian. Getting her to 100% faithful felt incredibly rewarding! Here's hoping to see more of Gillian and Louise, those two redheads look great and need more scenes with Warrior-Poet Ian!
I know I'm an outlier, but Holly is the least interesting female NPC to me. I would love more scenes with everyone of them with Ian, (not at the same time lol) to make a playthrough where Ian and Lena aren't a thing a little more juicy from Ian's perspective, including Holly. Emma is probably my favourite out of them and I've second to last. Looking forward to see what you're coming up with for all of them.
I'm a poison Ivy enjoyer myself so I can't relate ;) - but I'm sure there's plenty of folks who like activists and aren't interested in bookworms. Fun fact: People who are not into nerds tend to not be the most 'online active' folks due to having an actual life ... so don't mistake online polls for reality. It's the online crowd that forms the core audience for these games tho.

Done a cherry run recently, and really, we just need more of her. No cherry in the last chapters, that's why she is so down. Cherry, come back to the city !
I love Cherry! I think she suffers from not being as integrated in the main storyline/ not being in the main friend group. That said, I'm happy Cindy, Holly, (and often Allison) get most of the attention.
I think I like pretty much all the women, you've done a great job with them. Even though I'm a big fan of Cindy, Allison and Emma, I can see Cherry shooting to the top if she's ever more developed because her scenes are already very hot and her antagonism with Lena seem like setup ripe to be taken into all kinds of directions.

Yeah, Zarina being as low makes sense, bcuz she's new, just give her time and more scenes and she'll defo go up several tiers. Lets not forget about Sonia. Ian has to smash her too!!!! Now lets make a male popularity contest! Im sure Ian and Jeremy will be at the top.
Looking forward to more Lena/Zarina. Hopefully with some Ivy-bullying included. Zarina sending Ivy selfies of herself "engaged" with Lena would be great. Also as always praise be to Cindy and here's to getting some Lena/Cindy action in the future!

Best aspects of each top character from what I can see: Holly- Initial starting position characteristic wise+character development if corruption route is pursued increasingly Cindy- Most Complicated life situation out of the bunch if Ian pursues/gets more involved, + Hot blonde Allison- Initial starting position characteristic wise+character development if corruption route is pursued increasingly Emma- Very submissive and obedient, whichever choices Ian makes she add a very good dynamic Ivy- Ivy As well as in general each character has distinct mannerisms and personalities, that’s vital

Apart from Ivy all other top spots are of girls who have strong corruption, so I am noticing a trend here. (I also like to corrupt these pretty babes lol)

Zarina is a new, fresh character with potential, but Emma and Cindy are still at the top of the podium for me.

Cherry is great. I love that you can have a normal and healthy relationship between Ian & Cherry, so please don't let her low ranking discourage you.

I think Gillian has great potential. We just have not seen much of her at all or what routes she can develop into.
Minerva deserves so much more love imo. In comparison to the other younger cast she just wins me over with her passion and attitude.
