Chapter 12 Status Report (9)
Hi everyone! The release cycle for Chapter 12.2 has just wrapped up, and the road to 12.3 continues.
During this last week I've been fixing and polishing the latest release (I just re-uploaded it with the final bug and grammar fixes, you can get it here) and making progress on the last part of this chapter, writing and producing the new drawings I need.
Writing is the most challenging, especially when there's a scene where a bunch of characters interact at the same time. Their relationships exist in a wide variety of interlocking states, and the dialogue and reactions have to make sense within those. Also, the flow of the scene hast to go together, so finding the way to integrate divergent conversations and inner monologues so the scene can continue seamlessly is quite tricky. This is especially true when 4 or 5 characters share a scene, which often times makes the most simple situations the most difficult to write and structure. Also, if you've played this last update, you know tensions are high in many plotlines, so it's important to keep that in mind when writing how a character reacts to certain things, or which choices the player is given access to.
However, I feel I'm making good progress, switching between tasks and trying to be consistent. When I'm done with the drawings, I already have quite a few waiting to be given the final pass, and I will get on with those as I continue writing.

I can't praise you enough Eva. This game has so many layers! I don't know how many times I played it thru already. But then again, you are never truly thru. You just pealed off another layer. And about that. Does anyone know how to share your Gillian-nightmare with Lena? I've tried with a full friendship-bar and a three quarter one, but it's still greyed out.
Hi, it has to do with Lena’s choices regarding a tall blond guy, and Ian need to be insecure at some point. Obviously they have to keep hooking up together. I won’t say much cause it's so thrilling when you found it by yourself 😋 Enjoy

The layers on layers in this story are mind bending from a programming perspective. Every playthrough brings surprises.
As a Louise fan, I was glad to see more from her in the latest update.

I wish Ian could have multiple scenes to sneakily cheat on Lena with Emma/Cindy/Cherry/Louise/Ivy/Minerva while Lena is around them
I am glad you are so talented in writing this complex dialogues. Many other writers would just give up or use much simpler and stupid plots ... and even fail with them. You are really good at what you are doing! Even though there were no hot scenes for me in the last update (in my chosen plot), I enjoyed the game and loved reading mor from my beloved "friends".
I love to see the work in it. Damn. You make a good job.
