PATRON TIER LIST - VOY S3E5 - False Profits

Look, I enjoy comedy and fluff and references to past glory. Voyager is my show, and episodes like this are why.

Of all the many, many Alpha Quadrant encounters they seem to have at least this one makes some sense as it was stated in the TNG episode that the other end of the wormhole did dump the Ferengi into the Delta Quadrant. I felt that Janeway letting them go back to the planet was was a little forced. C+, maybe B-.

Ma-a-aybe a generous C for most of it, but the total crew incompetence for the ending plunges it to the bottom of the barrel.

I don't have any hate for this. It's just disappointing. All these years later I think the episode is a C and not just locking up thd Ferengi and heading for the hole is an E.

The cheeseballness of this worked for me. Plus I'm very glad they didn't waste the TNG opportunity they unintentionally gave themselves in the price. It's not S, but it's fun enough for high B or even low A. Graded on the Voyager curve at least...

I’m so tempted to rate S-tier, just because. 🤣
