Q- "farewell mon capitaine"
This really hurt me I grew up with this man like everybody from movies like Dune,Life Force,Moby Dick, Star Trek Universe,X-Men his incredible voice acting He will be very missed.
I am so sad about this. This is the most I've ever been affected by a celebrity's passing.

My Captain 😢
🖖😢 😭 💔 😪 😫
I wasn't ready to say goodbye, especially so soon after Walter Koenig. This man helped shape me into who I am today. He taught me leadership, compassion, and kindness without ever meeting me. Rest in peace, Sir Patrick.
Hell of a shock to see this one, RIP ☹️
Worst Week for Star Trek Fans. 2 Legends gone :(
"Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. But I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment because they'll never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we've lived. After all, Number One, we're only mortal."
What a week… RIP Mr. Stewart.
I'm devastated. First Walter, and now Sir Patrick. I grew up watching Star Trek with my dad as he was a fan, and it gave me my love of the series. As time went on and we got DS9 and Voyager I was old enough to go to my first convention. I have my dad to thank for that, who, ironically, died 4 years ago on the same day. Sir Patrick was a massive part of my formative years and he will be missed. "He was a man, take him for all in all, I shall not look upon his like again" -Hamlet, as quoted by Captain Picard in "The Most Toys" 💔
RIP
I haven’t had a celebrity death of natural causes affect me this much in years. He truly was loved. 💔
Yes, this is a rough one. The first TNG cast member to leave us.
I am heartbroken by this loss. Sir Patrick Stewart was a great actor and a great man, one who demonstrated that true strength comes from kindness, compassion, wisdom, and humor. He will be sorely missed.
What TNG episode are you watching tonight?
So sad
I'm heart broken. I remember how he once stayed behind at a convention, signing autographs for every last fan in line, even though the venue had passed closing. When he signed for me, I told him I've been a fan since I, Claudius. He really liked that. He was my Captain and what he brought to Trek is immeasurable. "Order a man to hand over his child to the State? Now while I'm his Captain." Aur Revoir, Jean-Luc.💔
Oh Captain My Captain...I don't have the words. i have been crying on and off for past days watching old TOS episodes and the movies just remembering Walter and then our beloved Sir Patrick Stewart passes away. I am in shock. Love and prayers to their family, friends and fans. May the both rest in peace. Such a sad week. Live Long an Prosper to them both.
Goodbye, space dad. 💔🫡🖖😢
I knew this day would come, but I'm still crestfallen.
Finding out from this post; RIP, Patrick. 💓
I heard it here first, but I didn't believe it, and while checking the internet for articles, my best friend from middle school messaged me really sad, and I'm the Star Trek fan, not her! He touched everybody with all of his roles! ❤️
2026. CAN. GO. FUCK. ITSELF. 💔💔💔💔💔 😞😞😞😞😞
I'll be lying if I said I didn't cry a little. I don't cry easily, I'm far too emotionally repressed. But it feels like losing a family member. He was such a good role model, on and off screen. Such a tender poetic soul as well as a fierce ally when required.
It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose. That is not a weakness; that is life" Captain Picard
You know I normally do t get affected much by celebrity deaths but this truly hurts😭
😭😭😭😭😢😢😢💔💔💔💔😢😢😢😭😭😭😭
It's so sad. RIP Sir Patrick Stewart
I have some great Sir Patrick Stewart stories. Some are hilarious, some you probably won’t believe and some I can never tell you. Maybe someday after I’ve absorbed the news of his loss I’ll tell one or two. He was a true gentleman and an inspiration and I consider myself to be beyond fortunate that I was able to interact with him in a small way. Condolences to his family, his friends and colleagues and his millions and millions of fans who loved him so very much.
I'm so glad i got some good weed and Pringles to day! I think i'm going to re watch First Contact again with the boys on the side.
I can't believe Kirk outlived Picard.
Just cried my eyes out... This legitimately hurts.
Well, here’s the Patrick Stewart, who is clearly boldly going, where all of us will eventually go
"Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. But I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey, and reminds us to cherish every moment because they'll never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we've lived..." Hailing frequencies closed, Sir.
"Out, out, brief candle! Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player That struts and frets his hour upon the stage And then is heard no more…" (Patrick Stewart in Macbeth Act 5, Scene 5)
I don't have words for this. This hurts like Cullen's death hurt. I hope everyone is okay and surrounded by love right now.
Well this sucks to wake up to. R.I.P. to a great man.
Damn it.... 💔
This hurts, damn this hurts. Thank you for the memories, Sir Patrick
We have the bridge now, Captain.
Oh no - you’re breaking this news for me. Legend. RiP
"What we leave behind is not as important as how we lived." Fair winds and following seas Captain.
💔
OMG.... THIS HURTS AS BAD AS DOLLY PARTON. RIP CAPTAIN.
I don't have the words and others have said it better 🖖💔 But, I will quote him, "Seize the time. Live now. Make now always the most precious time. Now will never come again."
("He was a man, take him for all in all, I shall not look upon his like again") Picard- The most Toys
This has hurt 😢
Such a shock Class act. Got to see him perform a one man version of Christmas Carol.
Without this man, could TNG have been even half as successful? His masterful portrayal of Jean-Luc Picard must be a big reason the show survived the first seasons and paved the way for more captains in the future. Thank you Patrick!
I don't have the words and others have said it better 🖖💔
O Captain! My Captain! Our star voyage is done, The Romulans have been defeated, the Neutral Zone is won.
Thinking of Gates and Jonathan and all who loved him hearing
Oh no it's been a bad week for Star Trek
This is how I find out 😢
RIP the legends Patrick & Walter :( We better not get a third one this week :(
RIP my favourite Captain of the Enterprise, Sir Patrick Stewart. What a terrible week for the Trek community. 😢
Rip
Absolutely devastated. A true artist and icon. Here’s to his final journey into the final frontier 🖖 “Let’s see what’s out there…”
Wonder if they put a In Memory Of titlecard before DOOMSDAY?
His memory will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of the countless people he inspired in life. Thinking of that makes me a little less sad. So I'll try to do the same. He was awesome and I will try to remember him with a smile on my face instead of tears in my eyes. Rest in peace, Sir Patrick.
RIP. He was a good actor. Shatner will outlive them all.
Absolutely devastating news.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
I'm still mourning my mother's passing last week and we lose 3 icons of Star Trek within the past few weeks. Michael Forest, who was the Greek God Apollo in TOS' Who Mourns for Adonais and reprised the role in Star Trek Continues, Walter Koenig, our Chekov, who was far more than a Davy Jones knockoff, and now Captain Picard himself, Sir Patrick Stewart. Please let me wake up from this nightmarish loop that is 2026. May my mother and Mr. Forest, Mr. Koenig and Mr. Stewart all Travel In Peace.
Is this the shortest bout of Alzeimer some live with it for years so i guess you can take that as some respite
He was a brilliant actor in TV and Film, I first took notice of him in I Claudius and then later as our Captain. Such a loss, I've had more text and email from people about his death than anyone I can remember. So sad and in the same week as Checkov, Walter Koenig, another great loss for the Franchise. Our Hero's are all approaching their final mission.
The greatest Starfleet captain of the entire franchise. But above all, a man of grace who was admired and an inspiration to all of us. I am devastated today. Rest in peace always, Sir Patrick. Make it so. 🙏
Can’t even process this.
Devastated.
I would watch absolutely anything he was in, even Blunt Talk. Saw him a few times on stage in Shakespeare plays: always magnificent
So Sad espeicially after Walter. Someone go lock Shatner and Takai in a closet
Seriously? Think about what you just said... 😜
Hey guys, to honor his memory, if you are looking to react to any movies, shows, anything with Patrick in that you may never have seen, the movie EXCALIBUR often falls though the cracks. He doesn't have a MAJOR role in it, but he has a decent amount of screen time, and it's a really good movie too. IDK if either of you have seen it, but I recommend it - to ANYONE who hasn't seen it! 🥲 Another legend passes... R.I.P. Sir Patrick 🤘😎🎸
I remember watching the uncut reaction TA did of Excalibur a year or two ago (it should be in the movie collection folder)
I was hoping it was fake news or some news mixed something up with the death of Walter Koenig. But unfortunately it's true. RIP Patrick Stewart, my favorite Star Trek captain. "No goodbyes, just good memories. Hailing frequencies closed"
Crap. But they said he had dementia, so I would rather he go out now than have prolonged suffering.
I swear that I had been feeling it for a few days. May you rest in peace captain.
I'm truly heartbroken. A hug to all of you
My youngest daughter just came to tell me. Man, this one hurts as it's not just Trek, it's all his wonderful work. We've been fortunate enough to see him on stage. He's an absolute legend. Adieu, mon capitaine.
WAIT WHAT? NO FUCKING WAY
I didn't believe it either at first. As soon as I heard, I checked Google and Wikipedia hadn't even updated the dates yet. They only had his birth date and not his birth date through to his death date. But I did see a few articles and was like, crap! I was really hoping it was a hoax! 💔
I expect a goddamn moving tribute video.
I dont even know what to say about this one. He was a pillar of my childhood and whole adult life. This was unexpected and shocking. What a terrible week its been.
I’m huge marvel fan and Star Trek fan and Dune fan. I’m triple hurt by this one.
Damnit

Still resisting it
Brutal, my Captain and role model. Rest Well Sir Patrick.
my captain !!! So, five-card stud, nothing wild... and the sky's the limit !!! rip
From the man himself: “I should have done this a long time ago… so five-card stud, nothing wild and the sky’s the limit.” RIP Captain
I was braced for Walter Koenig, but I wasn't expecting this one.
I can't really believe it, just utterly gutted. All I can think now is that, "Death is that state in which one exists only in the memory of others, which is why it is not an end. No goodbyes—just good memories. Hailing frequencies closed.”
Genuinely heart broken.
He will be well received in the Halls of Stovokor!
I didn’t see that coming today. What a loss.
I'm honestly not sure there's ever been a more depressing week for the Trek community. This would be incredibly depressing news regardless but so soon after Walter is just devastating. I've seen no shortage of people who cite Picard as one of their most prominent role models growing up, and I count myself among them. Few could have brought that character to life quite like he did. What a legacy to leave behind. RIP Patrick Stewart
😭
Both the characters he's most known for playing (at least in the US), Capt. Jean-Luc Picard and Prof. Charles Xavier, were big influences on teenage me. This is tough news.
Hailing frequencies closed.
Don’t know what to say. It’s a rough day. Rest In Peace, Sir Patrick Make It So….
Noooooooo
Oh fuccccckkkkkkkkkkk.
😞
Tough week for Star Trek, First Walter, now him?
Noooooo! Not ready 😭
So devastating.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!
I’m devastated
RIP to an absolute brilliant actor. He gave us all so many great memories 😥
Make it “not” so..
RIP... a true legend!
I feel like I met this man when I was nine years old and have known him ever since. I will miss him so much.
Holy shit...... 🫡
He was a man, take him for all in all, I shall not look upon his like again. RIP Captain.
This is just so sad. The loss of Patrick Stewart is a tough one to swallow. He's an absolute icon beyond Star Trek.
First main TNG cast member to die. This sucks the big one
Damn.😓 R.I.P. Safe journey. Thanks for brightening my life.
Bad week to be a Trek fan. Marina expressed how heartbroken she was this week over Walter passing .
Such genuinely sad news 😢
I'm gonna cry about this one a lot. Many different times. A great actor, but - more importantly - a good man. "Oh Captain, my captain..."
NOOOOOooooo
Damn...the world lost a legendary Shakespearean actor AND a Star Trek hero
RIP Sir 😭
Rest in Peace, Captain.
I just saw this a little while ago on my FB feed. I'm not ready for this. May he rest in peace, the last great captain of the Enterprise.
Truly terrible news. Is this the worst week in Star Trek history at this point? The world needs more Picard at times like this, not less.
This is tough, truly such a big part of my life and a legend. Glad I have been and still get to re-experience his journey as Picard with you guys. RIP Mon Capitan
Damn. First Walter, now Patrick. Will there be a 3rd?
Please don't make it so.
Such a sad week for Trekkies. Rest in Peace Sir Steward.
Oh fuck
I am not ok.
Absolutely gutted. When Walter Koenig died the other day I thought about how gutting it was going to be when the first TNG cast member went. I never thought it would be quite so soon. RIP Sir Patrick
A legendary actor for a legendary Captain. RIP.
Fuck I was hoping and praying it was a hoax days after losing Walter…… no no no no! 😭 💔
Man, this hits.
Read the sad news a few minutes ago. 🖖🏼😢
RIP Trek GOAT.
Absolutely gutted. He was my hero. His work got me through some hard times in my life. Always wanted to meet him. Never got the chance. Rest in peace Captain
Gutted is just the word 🥺
😭
Second star to the right….
Yes. So sad. What a great actor!
Just heard this 😭
Fuck, this one really hurts. Rest in peace, Captain.
Sad day.
This week sucks
😔
