IN REGAL THEATERS THIS WEEKEND - The Sixty-Year Mission: How Star Trek Changed Television and the World
Happy to finally be able to post these photos. Don't know if we ended up included in the final product, but regardless, had an amazing experience sitting down with Mark A. Altman earlier this year and talking about Star Trek with him for his new documentary which is being shown at Regal theaters this weekend! If it's showing near you, go check it out!

Wow! I hope you made the cut!👍👍👍
I wish I could watch it, but my city only has one theater playing it on one day and only one showing during my work hours.
And your ST journey continues. You once sat down to watch ST someone created in the past... And now you are part of this universe, you travel and create and you take others with you who sat down to watch ST.... Congratulations to both of you for yet another great achievement 🖖🏼
On Oct 6th 1927 talking pictures debuted. Now, 99 years later you are talking in pictures!
LFG!!!
There are no Regal Theaters in Canada, soooo..... you guys gotta fix this I'll give you until Friday. Should be plenty of time 😉🖖🏼 Seriously, though... very cool! Fingers crossed that your contribution stays in... and that I get to see it somehow
When you guys finally catch up to the final movie - before the new series' started, I ABSOLUTELY recommend both Volumes of Sltman and his writing partner, Gross' book "The 50 year mission" collection interview bits from people all accross Trek production and laying it out in chronological order, creating a narrative of the making of Trek made up of diverse perspectives.
Man, being mentioned in the same sentence as Mark Altman means you’ve made it as Trek fans. (In case the years of watching hundreds of episodes didn’t qualify you.) Congrats!! 🎉
Well it turns out there is no Regal theater in my state. Closest is a 6 hour drive. I will likely have to catch it via streaming somewhere 😅
Would totally go, but not playing anywhere near me
Mark Altman’s two books - The Fifty Year Mission - the First 25 Years and the Next 25 years are absolutely fantastic verbal histories of Star Trek. I’ve got the hardbacks but also love listening to them on Audible. So good.
I can’t remember the name of the book he coauthored where they ranked all the Trek episodes up to that point, but there are some HOT takes in there now that I subscribe to TA. Pretty sure he gave Meridian zero stars.
Wow. That's awesome!
Very cool. Did you all feel apprehensive when you realized your shirt color was the same as the background?
How many lights were there?
LOL!
How does it feel to become Star Trek celebrities?
