YOUTUBE - Destiny | Star Trek Fans First Time Watching DS9

The interesting thing that DS9 brings to the table is the fact that, as far as the in-universe explaination goes, the Bajoran gods *are* real. We've met them and the Bajorans- through the Orbs- have a means by which they can actually commune with them. Because the wormhole aliens experience time non-linearly it means that any prophesy *must* be considered, but due to the cryptic nature of the prophets will always be open to interpretation. The real character interest comes from Sisko and his position as a- at most- agnostic Starfleet officer and how he has to deal with being a genuine religious icon within Bajoran culture.
POKE THE 🐻. I Wana see Alex improv a DDT 🐍😂
I totally relate to your prophisizing family member Josh. Part of what drew me to Start Trek as a kid and why I'm atheist now.
Great episode
The stuff with O'Brien and the Cardassian woman was a surprising turn, although it came close to veering into "predatory alien female trope" territory. FYI: Watching over here instead of on Youtube, as they've pissed me off with you guys' channel for the final time.
Kirk would be like, point that "predatory alien female" my way....lol.
A Ms Elizabeth shoutout in a Star Trek reaction. Hell yeah, brother!
I loved their wedding reception when Jake The Snake crashes the party. The narration is just beyond perfect.
I've always had a fondness for this episode solely because of the Chief O'Brian moments... Don't really care for the rest of it. C is fair
A B for character moments
