PATRON TIER LIST - DS9 S2E8 - Necessary Evil

I don't think i can count on 2 hands the number of episodes remaining in the series from here that would be a "B" or lower... Seriously, best trek series period.

S but not even in the top 15 episodes of the show. It only gets better from here.

Buckle up boys.

Expect this quality consistently, week after week at some point in the future of the show. And unbelievably. Even higher quality. A. Not even in my top 10 eps!

This is the moment DS9 became Heisenberg

S for season 2. A tier for the overall series.

S tier.

Quark Good! Odo Goo! Kira Goouilty! Dukat aroGooant

I love the episodes that show flashbacks to Terak Nor. So much world-building and a great example of “show, don’t tell” for describing the brutality of the occupation.

I’d say this is representative quality of mid-late ds9 storytelling. Solid A. I don’t think it hits S tier in the overall series, but certainly from what we’ve seen so far it’s top 3.

Rom shows he is more than a pretty face in this episode. Trivia: the image of Chisaro is Dan Curry - creator of the bat’leth, director of Birthright part 2 and visual effects producer.

One of the best detective episodes in all of Star Trek! 😊👍

Great episode. A nice glimpse of DS9 Season -1

I feel mean only giving this A after seeing the vast majority so far give it S, but it's definitely a great episode, with fantastic performances especially from Odo, Kira, and Dukat.

That episode is pretty sweet
