I actually played the Demon King demo last month when it came it. It also scared the crap out of me to the point I still haven't finished the demo. It is absolutely off-putting in the best way.

Hungry Ghosts sounds absolutely incredible. I really wish we had more games like it with granularity and choice rolled into gameplay rather than mostly dialogue, like you pointed out.
