Looking for additional testers
Over the last couple of weeks I’ve released several new alpha versions of the Mod Manager. I already have a wonderful group of testers on my Discord, but more feedback is always welcome and genuinely needed.
Please only use the alpha/pre-release versions if you’re open to giving feedback.
How to get the alpha
Option 1: Through the Mod Manager (recommended)
Open the Mod Manager and go to Settings.
Open Version & Updates and scroll down to Pre-releases & Alpha versions.
Turn on Check for alpha versions, then restart the Mod Manager.
From then on, new alpha releases will arrive automatically through the Mod Manager.
Option 2: Download from the website
You can also download the latest alpha directly from my website. It installs over your current version.
Note: if you haven’t turned on alpha versions in the settings, the Mod Manager will offer you an “update”. Accepting it will take you back to the latest stable release, so turn the setting on (see Option 1) if you want to stay on the alpha.
Where to give feedback
The best place is my Discord server. Claim the Tester role and post your feedback in the tester-chat channel, or use the feedback or suggestions channels.
Not a fan of Discord? You can also leave a comment here, send feedback via the dev server of PlumbDex or via E-Mail
What’s changed?
The full alpha changelogs are posted or linked in the alpha-changelog channel on Discord.
