Small update & plans for the next weeks
It took a little longer than expected, but the new update is finally online. While it doesn't add major new features, it focuses on community-requested fixes.
Over the past few weeks, I gathered your feedback and tackled reported issues one by one. This update brings all those fixes together.
A few minor issues might remain, so please reach out if you encounter any problems!
Little temporary easter egg:
This version includes a first prototype of a wrapped feature. You can give it a try by going to Settings -> Advanced -> S4MM Commands -> Enter wrapped -> Click Run.
Plans for the next weeks
I hope that the new version is now stable enough to look into new features again.
"New features" might not be that accurate, since I'm picking up a somewhat abandoned side project. It's currently called "PlumbDex" and will be an online database for Sims 4 modding files. It will not host the files for downloading, but just store information about them.
The long-term goal would be to be able to mark files as broken, but for the start, it's more of a community and discovery platform.
Plans are:

Create mod/CC collections
Browse files
I hope to get a test version ready in the beginning of next month. So keep an eye on the Tester Discord channel if you're interested!

This is perhaps not the correct place to suggest this, but would it be possible to make it so that clicking the Change Path button next to the Mod Folder Path would open the currently selected folder? I change mine a lot since I have a lot of mods, it can be kinda overwhelming to have all of them at once, and currently I have to either copy and paste the file path, or navigate it fresh every time (and if I accidentally click one folder too deep then I have to redo)
At that point it would maybe make more sense, too create a feature that can have multiple folders as a list and lets you switch. Also to reduce the reloading times. I will add it to my ToDo list. And will some test how feasible it would be
Hi, may I ask a question, I don't know if that was asked before already: Is there any possibility to show the Polycount in the CAS Values overview? I'm often cleaning out CCs that are too high on polygons (usually using LOD 0) and so far it requires to open each file to find the count. If it were in the CAS values that would be a lot faster (and a sort option would be absolute amazing if anyhow possible).
i ABSOLUTELY love the new update! just a question tho: has ccswiper app project been abandoned? at least for android (i dont know abt ios). the old apk version is incopatible with this new app version so i can't connect my pc to my smartphone even though the IP is linked correctly (i apologize for my english, its not my first lenguage). thank you so much for your work!
Yeah sorry the android version was delayed. I now got it finally updated. You should see the update in google play
the downloads are sooooo slow or fails. and always saying need to connect to internet when it is I'm watching Hulu at the moment . also its not acknowledging updates if there is any

I love that now, when we delete something, it doesn’t take us back to the first page. It stays right where we are. This has saved me SO much time! 🙌
Ahh I loooove how the filters now also work perfectly, now that the CAS values come through, such a dream!! Love your work!! May I ask a feature question, maybe this already exists somewhere hidden: When I select several CC items that I plan to delete in the S4MM overview grid, and I'm done selecting, I would love to switch to a view where I can only see those selected items, just to double check if I didn't accidentally select one that I want to keep. Does such a view exist? Basically a filter that only shows what is selected?
There is now list view for deleting stuff. Just the normal confirm popup. I added you feature request to my to do list. I think something like this would be quite easy to add.
OMG!!! Thank youuuuuu for fixing the CAS values, they were broken for a while not showing the actual values (like outfit category, age and gender) - now everything is working so well!! Sooo happy, thank youuu so much!! 🙌
hi. i don't know why, sometimes the download fails, even though there is WiFi TT
same here sometimes you just have to keep trying to download it or leave that page then look that item up again
