A little 1920s pattern research...

I recently sent this beautiful 1920s sewing pattern to a new home. But before I did, I just could not resist taking some scans of the amazing, rather long instruction sheet.

The original is so large that I broke it up into small images so you can take a closer look if you like...

Pictorial Review 4398 was released circa 1928-1929.

Pictorial Review Patterns were manufactured from 1899 to 1939. In 1925, they introduced the "Pictograph" instruction sheet format featured in these photos.
