But I mean I think I'd appreciate this a little more as an adult.
I saw this when I was a super little kid...and was super bored by it. Honestly maybe only saw part of it because I do remember those close ups of the monster's face...and the damn drunk bum . Like that's how I remember the monster we saw it's face then mostly silloute. Five years ago I was so happy to learn Lupitas Monster was that movie since I didn't know the name of it. Damn I must have been young since I'd think I'd have the memory of going 'that's Rodan's roar!'
Funny how in both this film and the original Ultraman, they have bug monsters that use a sped up Rodan roar. Not only that, part of me feels like there’s more but all I can think of further is the rat monster from Journey to the Seventh Planet
If you're covering the box set I think you are, I can't wait for you to see War of the Robots. The movie Brandon Tenold of Brandon's Cult Movie Reviews calls the worst movie he's ever reviewed. And he did a video on "Things."
Yup, yup, triple yup. I already watched and wrote and edited a segment for it. The same Italian director made four other ones exactly like War of the Robots and they're all incredibly disposable and painful.
