Track of the Moon Beast (1976) review
Every now and again you watch a movie with a production detail that's a hundred times more interesting than anything in the movie itself. This is one of those times.

I've seen this episode countless times and never clocked it was a 50s throwback
I think the tent scene is pretty good since it taps into that fear of some animal attacking you out in the wilderness. That and I kind of like that profile shot of the transformation as it goes through the phases...moon rock oh wow!
Wow… I remember this one from MST3k (barely, I had it COMPLETELY confused with Night of the Blood Beast), but I had no idea Bill Finger wrote it. Sadly, probably made more money of this snoozer than he did for creating Robin, the Joker, Two-Face, Catwoman, Gotham City… and virtually everything else that made Batman enjoyable.
