Update: RoboLotl now has Multicolor 3MFs!
Hey all!
I've been wanting to get this update done for a while, and hoped to have it out before I released the Robo Octopus. I ran short on time for that, BUT its ready now!
I'm including quite a few 3MF options with this one:
- 4 Color: best for most multicolor printers
- 5 Color: great for 5 color printers
- 7 Color: Even more color details for those with higher multicolor capability!
-All 3MF files offer both “Clean” and “withScuffs” versions. If you want it to have that worn-in, scratched paint feel, try out the scuffs version!
-If you want to experiment with altering the 3MFs to add more color variation, I encourage you to check out This Video for some tips and tricks!
**This is an update of an older file and NOT a new release, so it is NOT included free with membership. To get the update:
If you previously purchased the RoboLotl, all of my shops have this updated version. You can re-download the latest version from wherever you originally bought it.
If you were a subscriber when it was originally released. If you redeemed your MyMiniFactory archive access invite. Check your MMF Library in the "Shared with Me" section.
If you don't own it and want to purchase it, you can get it from my Cults3D or MyMiniFactory shops. Be sure to use the subscriber's 50% OFF coupon code that is listed in the Hub post.

anyone do these as 5 or more color with Snapmaker U1 with the 5,6,7 colors being Full Spectrum ones? Thoughts Matt?

Wowww this looks amazing! Definitely need a h2c or a u1 for this beauty...
It was a cool print, but a little disappointing to see the painting on the tail had a few mistakes. You can see it in the pictures above, on the very tips on a few spots. I found out after it was printed.
That is explained above and in the guide. There are two versions of each 3MF “withScuffs” and “Clean”. The scuffs are like wear and tear, scratched paint, etc. if you don’t want them, print the Clean version.

This is dope!!! I downloaded it 3 days ago and gave up because didn’t want to color it
