Vote for the future map style!
Hi all!
I hope you're enjoying the latest build! I wanted to let you know that I'm planning to rebuild the entire map for our new game. Right now, I'm experimenting with different styles of map assets. I would really appreciate your vote on which style you prefer. Here are the options:
1. Keep the matrix map: This option would make the game look like the current sandbox mode, but it would still require a high-end PC to play.
2. Low Poly building assets: This style has a slightly cartoonish look, but it offers better performance. However, it may temporarily lose the building destruction effect until I find another method to incorporate it.
3. Return to the previous playground map: With this option, the map would resemble the previous version, but with an improved street design. (More like village style?)
Please take a moment to vote for the style you like the most. Your feedback is important to me as I continue working on the game. Thank you!

希望能搞个对显卡负载相对低一点的版本,1660s矿还是比较吃力这个版本。当然,我也希望三种模式都可以发展起来,可能就是有点掉头发
Please let it on matrix map style :/ There are lots of cartoonish fetish games out there, I just came here coz it looked realistic and this makes it so special because all the others develops their games in low quality :( At least what I found untill now xD
Don't worry changing the map doesn't mean I'll lower the quality. All these three maps use high-quality texture; the style may look different.
Can you implement more foot grind/twist animation? A giantes must use her giant feet 🤣
Making animations are fast :D I’ll get the map done first
I think all of em have benefits and down sides. Depends on the hardware and what the user wants to do Matrix = realism, destruction, RIP PC Low poly = better performance, semi realistic, No destruction playground = high fps, destruction, a little empty so if you focus on 1, at least leave the other 2 in there as a choice
In fact, I'll try to use the PCG tools I learned a couple of months ago to generate a new city (hopefully it works out XDD) So option 2/3 should be almost the same just with a different rendering style.
