Slight delay
Sorry for the recent radio silence. I've been trying to get the game done before my out-of-town vacation is upon me, and every moment on my PC that I did not spend on making the game felt inefficient.
Alas, I didn't get the game in a state that I could confidently put it out just as I'm leaving. I'm pretty sure it would break saves and I wouldn't be around to fix it or help troubleshoot...so, I'll have to postpone the update for 2-3 weeks until I'm back home and can iron out the rest of the bugs (that I can find).
I'm sorry for this one, but ultimately I think it's better than breaking the existing saves. Anyways, here's a nice starry sky/ceiling thing for you to admire while I'm gone. Who knows, it might be relevant in the coming update!

Aren't your vacations are over dev? I'm sorry to say but you guys are the worst developers I've ever seen.
We're coming up on 7 weeks since you committed to 2-3 weeks for a timeline. If I might make a suggestion or two, perhaps you should consider bringing on a few others to assist with the management aspect of the project and maybe an additional artist? Scheduling, mass communication, etc. These all require time and energy. And having an additional artist and/or coder could speed up production significantly and assist you with hitting your deadlines. Maybe you can find talent among your fans who will do the work in exchange for free access?
At the end of the day, managing any project isn't about doing everything yourself. It's about recruiting and managing the right manpower to get the job done on time and under budget to deliver maximum ROI to stakeholders, which, in turn attracts more investors.
Ah, yeah... To everyone waiting: I'm sorry - I severely underestimated the amount of time the last stretch of the update will take (I've always had issues with my project scoping). I already said on Discord that I don't want to give any fixed dates since I might be lying if I say anything and I'd rather not give false promises...but I'm working on it actively whenever I can to try to get it done.
Since the beginning of this year, there have been almost no updates. Please update as soon as possible……please……

You guys give 2 mins of content in every update and take atleast 6 months to release the update, I wanna support you guys but please give us atleast something to support.
Hope you had a great vacation and that the update/bug fixes is going well. I have never written a line of code in my life but based on the little I know I imagine it can be frustrating to solve for :)

My game just crashed at the church scene for Anna where you have to set your name again. Will this be fixed in the next release? I accidentally saved, and the quicksaves are all runtime errors.
Its a common issue with that update. You will encounter a few more once you're in the house with Anna's family. Just hit "accept" or something that says there on the error page and continue. Its an issue with the dialog screen you can just skip it and continue.
Come back refreshed to give your best. No way do I want saves broken and have to start again. Sounds reasonable to me.

Yeah, I agree. I would like to just.. keep paying every month- I do for a couple other games, but they've got updates every couple-few months and *constant* communication from the developer on the state of the next update. This game has had.. what, three posts? Since February? Maybe I can't see the rest since I'm not subscribed presently.
