TOOL v2.3 brings a new feature called Rotate Around Center. It's a toggle in the rotate dialog that lets you choose whether group rotation will rotate all objects around their own axis, or around the group's center.
This video demonstrates the difference.
Many players requested this, as it'll allow them to rotate TOOL-only builds after they've finished, instead of having to plan which rotation they want to begin with. I hope everyone enjoys.
Rotation Around Center added to Rotate Dialog
Added an improved rotation indicator. The circle is now a gradient.
Dim = 0. Bright = 360.
Positive rotation amounts will always move dim -> bright.
TOOL Quick-Start
The usage is the same as regular TOOL, except you will automatically be placed in TOOL mode any time the TOOL dialog is open.
Toggle TOOL in build mode by pressing Shift+T
In addition, shift+clicking surfaces will automatically place a group box marker. This can be used in combination with the Toggle Group button to highlight many objects at once.
When the TOOL extension is open, ctrl+z and ctrl+y will handle the TOOL undo/redo instead of the buildbuy undo/redo. Buildbuy undo still works when TOOL is closed.

Install Instructions
⚠ FOLLOW IT WORD FOR WORD. ⚠
1. Delete any existing copies you have for TOOL.
2. Open the "TwistedMexi's TOOL v2.3.6 Official" zip and drag the "Tmex-TOOL" folder inside to your mods root.
3. That's it! Don't restructure or move the files in any way.

Hi, I have followed the download instructions as per the above, still no luck when pressing shift+T to bring up the mod? Im using a MAC, could this be the issue?
i keep shift clicking and it's still not popping up! before i restarted my game it was showing in live mode but now its gone

Hi! I've managed to get CAW working but when I add BetterBuildBuy and T.O.O.L to my mods, I can't seem to move a household into a world. It's just a white blank screen other than the family in the bottom left corner, the "Select a world to move into" and some widgets at the top corners. Any ideas?
CAW has those mods built in, installing the separate ones will break everything.

Hi, I don't know why but that TOOL doesn't even show in my game, I did exact what was in description only folder in mods folder, no subs, is maybe something wrong with my game? cause I have some suspicions about my game, don't have even Bin on my computer in sims4 folders, or anywhere else on my computer. Sadly I have the same issues! Copied the mod to the mod folder in the Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods folder. When I start the game, it display the panel confirming the mod is installed, but no matter what I try the button shown in the video doesn't appear. Tried to remove any other mods, but no avail. Thank you for your help!
is there a way to delete your 'DRAG THE TMex...' file? I'm trying to delete my entire sims folder so I can reinstall it and that's the one thing that will never delete cus of the permissions 🙃
Does tool allow you to place objects outside the lot boundaries?
Yes, TOOL stands for Takes Objects Off Lot.
Does build buy mode encompass all of it? Tool is with it?
Better BuildBuy has all of my build mode enhancements, but TOOL is still separate. You have to install both if you want to use them together, as not everyone wants TOOL or vice versa, BBB.

Usually means you have an older copy of TOOL somewhere that doesn't have all the strings necessary for TOOL's menu options.
Watching the new video in regards to CAW, are there any plans/is it possible to integrate some of the controls (keyboard shortcuts) into TOOL?
Yes, if possible, it will be coming to TOOL eventually.
