Nullius Part One

Apologies for the wait (It feels like I do that every time)
I mentioned in the other post that one reason for delay was due to medical issues from an infected insect bite of some sort, but the second major delay was that after threatening to for so long I finally attempted to offload some of my editing workload onto a professional video editor. I didn't think it was that difficult, but as it turns out, it is.
I don't want to cast aspersions. It was partially my fault in not being absolutely clear on what my videos are supposed to look like, even though I was assured they'd seen and could edit in the same style. The short of it is, despite my instructions, what I received was not something I considered acceptable for my audience, and accepting it in that state would be unfair to my fans, so I took it upon myself to redo everything myself. That took another 30 or 35 hours of my life and gave me a stressful week for a video I already considered far over schedule, but I feel better for it. There's a peace in just accepting that Dosh is the only person who can make a Dosh video. It's only fitting that in an attempt to give myself less work, I end up creating more.
Anyway, I'll probably do another non-Factorio video after this one, and we'll see when I resume streaming. Fitting for me, it'll happen when it happens.

Factorio but it's opposite day
I always come on here to ask for PY, but I kind of feel like this is what PY would be like, except PY is more tedious and the video would be even longer. Only satisfaction would be seeing you suffer through it. However Id probably only actually watch 10% of it.
Really sucks that hiring an editor didn't work out, especially after all the time invested. The video itself was excellent as always and I'm already looking forward to the sequel even though it'll be awhile. Particularly curious to see what Physics science without heavy logistics bot use will end up looking like if you end up taking a shot at that.
Hey Dosh, sorry that the video was a headache to make, that sucks. But, I do want to say that the end result is really good, well done. One of my favorite videos already. ♥️♥️

Fantastic video, this build is a sight to see , it takes a while but your editing is the best for this game. Every time you post its a "mom get the camera, new dosh video!!!!" moment. Despite the mishap I'm glad you didn't and don't compromise your content. This series is GOLD! Dyson sphere or shapes1 - 2 would be killer. For Super Earth and Great Factories, keep up the great work!
Hey dosh! What are your thoughts on trigger techs and what do you think the developer could do better? Also, do you plan to release the blueprint for the master chef (tm)?
Amazing work as always. You masterChef machine is somthing I considered attempting to make many times. Don't feel too bad about the time delays. It's only natural that as you conquer more factorio chalanges that the next challenge will take longer to complete.

Dosh, the videos will come when they come. Dont feel pressured to get them out the door. Work on them over time and they are done when they are done.

I feel like to get someone capable of helping you make your videos, you’d have to contract them and have them shadow you as you made a video, just so they could have a sense of the editorial choices you made, or some process similar. Glad you’re feeling better in any case, and looking forward to watching the video!

I'm glad you gave an editor a try, it's unfortunate that it didn't turn out how you wanted. I'm sure there are some editors out there who can make videos in your style though. Next time you can just have them make a quick 5 minute video and you can see how it turns out and maybe give them a few pointers to improve.
That was roughly what I tried, but unfortunately it was not enough. I regret not listening to my gut and cancelling the agreement.
To be honest, I don't care about the delay. After how you ended your last message I'm just happy you are not dead...
