Mod Labs | 10+ Mods for More Immersive Gym & Fitness Gameplay in The Sims 4

Welcome back to another Mod Labs video 👩‍🔬✨ Today I'm testing out my new gym—THE FOUNDRY, an industrial refurb gym inside San Myshuno’s Spice District—and trying out some realistic fitness mods for a more immersive gym experience in The Sims 4.

This lot is going to be a regular location inside of my City Girls series, so I wanted to create a gym that felt alive and like somewhere I'd want to spend time in game. In this video, we're walking through the gym, looking at the venue setup, and testing out some of the equipment to make sure it's 100% functional and ready for gameplay! ✨

💬 Gameplay Notes

• I wanted this lot to work as both a Personal Trainer Studio and as a Gym regardless of whether I was visiting the lot as a trainer or not. But when I visited the lot as a non-trainer, no one showed up, so the functional Gym trait (linked below) is a good workaround if you don't want to have to flip between venue types when switching households.

• After MUCH fussing, I discovered the flickering on my sim (11:41) was due to the second floor mistakenly having a platform. 😂 I was going nuts after taking out every light and almost every object from that floor only to (eventually) discover it was the room itself.
