2026: Video Content, Stories, Streaming, & Big Dreams
Hi friends! 👋
I know we're a few days in already–it's very like me to be late to the party–but I hope you were able to enjoy the holidays and that you've had a beautiful start to your new year.
I was lucky enough to get nearly 2 weeks off over the holidays and I didn't waste a second of it. I rested, ate amazing food, read books, and did my best to recover before jumping into 2026.
Because...🥁...I have some really lofty, wild, and scary dreams for the coming year 😳 I'm going all-in on becoming a full-time content creator, writer, and artist. I've been talking about it for years, but I'm finally in a place with myself where I feel like I can do it.
Am I ready? No. Am I scared? Terrified, actually. Do I know what I'm doing? Nope.
But I'm committed to making it happen anyway.
That's why, right before Christmas, I put some skin in the game and invested in a new PC 🖥️ This year, the plan is to fully experiment with video, try out streaming, and (finally) start sharing my stories with you. I now have a machine that will let me do just that.
It's actually been 10 years since my last PC upgrade, and I can say that the migration has been turbulent at best 😵💫 but I've been using this transition period to reflect and get clear on what I really want to share with you.
Over the last year, I've shared lots of different types of content with you–and I'm super proud of the content I've posted–but I've been fairly inconsistent and want to get better about posting more regularly.
I think that starts with giving myself some structure. Now, listen...I have (self-diagnosed) ADHD, so I'm realistic about my odds for keeping up with a set schedule, but I believe I've created something achievable and aligned to support my goals for the year.
Here's what I'm thinking:
📬 Save File Updates will now be posted on Fridays, starting 1/16. These updates are related to my various projects for anyone who's interested in following along with my progress.
👾 Streaming on Twitch will take place every Wednesday at 8pm CT, starting 2/4. I'm using January to figure out how to set up my profile, run tests, configure my settings, etc. It will be my first time ever doing something like this and I'm beyond nervous, but excited! I'll share my Twitch channel with you as soon as it's ready to launch.
📸 New Gameplay Entries will land every other Sunday, starting in Feb. Inside of these entries, we'll follow my characters on their day-to-day adventures, play-test mods and lots, and dive into storylines for my saves, giving you an inside-look at how I play my game.
📰 The Simday Paper will be published the last Sunday of every month.
📍 Mini CC Finds – 3-5 finds from my current projects
🎥 1 video (shared here and on Youtube) – the context is going to vary on these, I'm leaving them up to whatever I feel inspired to create each month!
✍️ 1 piece of writing, character intro, or save/world lore – the goal here is actually just to get in the habit of sharing what I write (😱), so some of these might be unpolished WIP's, one-offs, or scenes that I've created just for practice.
🎁 Downloads
🎨 Creative extras – photo dumps or outtakes from my game that I feel like sharing
🗄️ Resources – templates, trackers, files, etc. that I use to keep my game organized
I also took a few minutes earlier this week to comb through all of my existing posts and make a list of all outstanding promises that need following-through. There's a laundry list, but we have a potential new EP coming out next month that looks PERFECT for my 🏰 Fantasy Medieval Save, so I suspect I'll be diving back into that kind of content quite a bit more over the next couple of months.

I want this year to be about building community, making new connections, and inspiring you to enjoy you game in ways you haven't before. I hope you'll stick with me on this journey, and that you'll get just as much joy out of my content as I do.
And if you made it down this far...
As we head into 2026, I just want to say thank you for being here. Thank you for supporting me and my content. I'm going to do my best to inspire you in all new ways this year. 🤍 But I also hope that you've set goals for yourself, too, and that 2026 is the year you follow what's in your heart. The year you really believe in yourself, take chances, and go after what you want. If there's anything I can do to support you along the way, please let me know!
