Man I can related to these issues so hard. I used to be a dreamer, still am to a degree, about game development. Since I was a little kid, walking behind my mom with a Gameboy in hand. Around my bachelor thesis time I led a student project in uni, with large dreams and ambitions, happiness from working on a game that in hindsight was utter dogshit but led me to become what I am today. I can't even say I failed either, I have been working for Epic Games for the last 5 years. But that's not really what I want. What I want is to make my own games, my own tools, not deal with corporate leadership and priorities that I don't care about. Of course, it's a job in the end, and I'm somewhat privileged. But I became disillusioned when my local game dev community stole an Unreal Engine workshop I held (before I worked for Epic) and I quit attending. I like giving. I like socializing. And now it feels like I'm left as only a cog in a machine, not even trying to live "the rockstar life" anymore. On paper, I achieved something, but in reality, it leaves me wanting much much more. The economic situation of western countries is destabilizing too, so I'm hesitant to "follow my dream" if that means leaving my golden cage. At times I had really hoped to get laid off so I'd be forced to, too. But I feel like I'm forced to deal with my own rationality that tells me not to quit my job, not to pursue a pipedream that statistically leads nowhere. And the years are passing. I am 30 now and don't have much to show for it outside my career.

While Sakuta and Mai do seem to tease each other less, I don't think it's because they're bored or even uncomfortable. To me it seems like they simply seem even more secure with each other and their relationship. It's been a year or a little more since the end of the third movie; the "honeymoon phase" is over, but I don't think they're any less in love. It might make it a little less entertaining for the viewer, but they still seem very happy.

The lost singer is Uzuki. The books are all have unique names like this, but since the anime covers multiple books, they just called the whole thing rascal does not dream of bunny girl, but every book has its own title. So for season 1, Mai was bunny girl senpai, koga was petite devil kouhai, futaba was a logical witch, nodoka was a siscon idol, and Kaede was a sister home alone. Also the shoko movie covered two books, rascal does not dream of a dreaming girl and rascal does not dream of his first love.

Fun fact, Nodoka’s and Sakuta’s voice actors are married in real life

A lot of Japanese Idol shows have very strict no-phone/recording policies that are actually respected & enforced. I'm a huge fan of the group Babymetal, and if you ever watch the professionally recorded concerts there's a stark different - shows in the UK & US you see phones up everywhere, and the Japanese shows are just fans enjoying themselves & not a phone to be seen. Zukki's VA reminds me a bit of Kaede's, in having such a great ability to distinguish between the two 'versions.' Any other series and Sakuta would be building a full harem at this point. Thankfully he has Mai instead :)
