Reid is the character I like the LEAST in Re: Zero. He crossed a line that goes against my principles. That's why I genuinely dislike him even more than Regulus because even Regulus wasn't out here SAing anybody, even with the "Emilia waking up nude" scene, it was heavily implied contextually that it was his wives handling all of the menial clothes changng stuff.

if you remember, anastasia cant go back, and eridna is trying to find a way for ana to get her body back, so its not her when julius was getting bodied
In terms of being courteous knight, Julius was previously seen as the ideal and embodiment of being a 'Knight', but now that his name is consumed, nobody remembers his titles, his personality, and his accomplishment, so all he has left at the moment is his strength. Now the role has been reversed, where previously Subaru is the Self-Proclaimed Knight while Julius is the Finest Knight, but now Subaru being the famous Knight that took down Sloth, Greed, White Whale, and Great Rabbit, while Julius now can only self-proclaim himself as a Knight. I really love this episode, my favourite of the season so far.
It’s kinda crazy that because people have forgotten Rem and Julius, the achievements they got together probably gets mostly attributed to Subaru. Albeit, I think it’s similar to how Ram tries to recall Rem and says she has a faint memory of her. People probably have a faint memory of Subaru getting help with Sloth but don’t remember who it was. Similarly, people have a faint memory that Subaru got his butt handed to him in the Royal Capital but don’t remember who the knight was.
I’ve always wondered if what happened with Flugel, since he has the same “stench” and was probably chosen in the past and either had very similar events happen to him with people forgetting collaborators of his or via his own achievements, eventually gainining a reputation as an all knowing sage, is what’s going to happen to Subaru. It kind of seems like every checkpoint for an obstacle for Subaru has appeared in a way to force Subaru to achieve a very specific solution and subsequent checkpoints force a result that almost makes everything feel predetermined or I guess maybe sets Subaru on a specific path into becoming a sage. Either way though, this is all conjecture.
Normal people cannot "Claim " the sword saints blessing. It just passes from user to user when it deems the next holder to be ready normally. However Reinhardt is like a bug in the world who can for unknown reasons just ask for any blessing he wants and get it. And it turned out due to his desire to be the sword saint as a kid at the wrong time because his family was in trouble he killed his grandma. He hardly has any control over being blessed. The world just automatically gives him whatever he thinks he wants.

Thank god Emilia didn't see Subaru making out with Julius on the stair case
"seems hopeless" HAHA just wait for next week's episode! ;) I can't wait to see how they will animate and voice Subaru in what's coming soon.
Two thoughts: 1. Remember that Julius has the divine protection of spirits, and spirits are naturally drawn to him. That may be why Echidna wanted to save him? I don't remember if Echidna called herself a manufactured spirit or not? Idk, that's just me throwing something at the wall to see if it sticks. 2. Maybe Subaru can challenge Reid to see who's better at using chopsticks...? He would actually know how to, I guess, and that's about all I think Subaru would be better at Reid than...

Man this episode was great Subaru and Julius friendship has very good writing it’s like they both been at their lowest before but they both know how strong they are Julius is strong with his sword and character meanwhile Subaru has a strong sense of justice and good use of understanding people.
It was Echidna who helped Julius, not Anastasia, which is more strange.

Great episode that shows how deep their friendship has grown. Subaru went from a foolish random whom Julius saved from certain execution in the royal court to the only person who can remember him as a close friend, and someone who helped him in return with the exact same issue of pride.
I'm always amazed how you guys retain information about older seasons, even if its a bit foggy sometimes. Not many reactors do. Great reaction as always!
like wes about to say (i think lol) juluis was saving subaru when they dueled , hadnt he done that , subaru would have been in trouble.
The author said it himself, Reinhard is a bug in the universe, but if Reinhard didn't exist, Reid would have been the strongest ever. (He also dont have any blessing at all, he is just build different)

28:31. It reminds me quite a match of Gojo Satoru. Well, Reinhard were before Gojo, so it's the other way around, but I mean, both Gojo and Reinhard were blessed, and there is no reason in comparing yourself with them. They both are litteral anomalies and worlds balance shifted once they were born/got powers.
Currently unlike before Julius is the unnamed knight and Subaru is renowned
Reid's va is actually old Rudy so its kinda cool having both isekai protags in here
