A bit of better news and about the future
Let’s start with the most important thing to me.
My wife's situation
My wife is at home after 25 days at the hospital. The pneumonia is almost healed, and the doctors have decided to send her home with antibiotic treatment until it heals 100%.
Since the pneumonia is still there, they haven’t been able to do the kidney biopsy, and we should return in a week to see if they can schedule it. They tried to do the biopsy of the nodules in the unaffected lung, but it wasn’t possible because they are so small that they disappeared in the ultrasounds when my wife breathed. The doctors will keep them under surveillance and conduct some tests over the next few weeks.
You can’t imagine how happy we are to have her home again. We spent the evening doing routine things. Having a normal dinner, watching a couple of TV shows…
She’s exhausted after so many days in the hospital, but she feels well, and she only wants to start doing routine things. She just went to bed a few minutes ago.
I have read your support messages to her, and right now, I hate you. You made my wife cry. Just kidding. I don’t hate you. They were tears of joy. I have read some of your messages to her during all these years, and she knows a lot of you by your names (or nicks). She sends hugs and kisses. Hey! I said hugs. No groping!!!
What will this mean for My Dorm?
First, I want to apologize. Yes, I know, family first. I agree, and that’s why I haven’t been around in the last 25 days. I’m not apologizing for that. I apologize because, when we knew it would take a long time for her to exit the hospital, I didn’t think about pausing your subscriptions. So, on Sunday, when it will be 30 days since she entered the hospital, I will pause the charging of subscriptions both on Patreon and Subscribestar for a month. That means you won’t pay for your next cycle, and if you are on an annual subscription, it will be extended for a month (Patreon only).
Next, I will start working on My Dorm as soon as possible. Possibly tomorrow or the day after. My wife has ordered me to keep behaving like her husband and not like her nurse, and she has forbidden me to be on the couch with her, asking every five minutes if she needs something. And that involves being on the computer, maybe not for as long as before, but well, I’m jobless for the foreseeable future, so I will have more free time that I can divide between developing and taking care of my wife. My wife wants me to continue developing the game, and she wants to know how it ends. So, I will continue with the story as soon as my mood allows me to do it.
The first thing I will do is to translate the latest update to the missing languages. Once again, I apologize for the delay.

Shit! Today I look like a full newspaper!
Steam has finally approved, on the third attempt, the build for Season 2. They sent me an email three hours ago. Now I should wait the customary 15 days, and that puts the launch date on May 26th. Almost two months after the initially planned date. It’s the same Season 2 you already played. No new renders or changes in the story beyond some small bugfixing (mostly in the gallery), typo hunting, the new translations into French, German, Italian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Turkish, and Brazilian Portuguese, and, obviously, the Steam achievements. Don’t buy it if you aren’t going to use those features. It’s the same game you can download here!

NEVER apologize for family again Trop ... and i think i can speak here for everyone, there are some things in life that makes all other unimportant. You are a guy of the old sort - like me, there arent many of us around anymore... But seeing the guys in your channel and how supportive they are, i think there is some hope at least... So - i have not seen one troll in this channel and for that i am thankful - it feels really good to be part of the My Dorm Community to support our spanish brother ! Thank you guys, you are a bunch of good people and i would be honored to meet everyone of you in RL... So again, we are here and we are going nowhere, at least as long as you let us...

SO glad to hear that your wife is home and is doing better. You all will still be in my continuous prayers. Personally, I never considered reducing or dropping my tier support (I actually wish I could afford more) and I will be purchasing S2 on Steam when it's available. I bought S1 but haven't played it since I have it downloaded from Patreon the same will be said for S2. 😊

I just spoke to a friend of mine today who had surgery to repair the labrum capsule around his hip and his mother had bone cancer and she used ivermectin combined with another drug and now she’s in remission, I think about you guys every time I hear that someone has cancer, you guys are in my prayers everyday, I hope that in the future we hear that she in remission, please take care ❤️🙏
