Twister Mod: DOWNLOAD
The Twister Game Mod adds a fully playable Twister system to The Sims 4 with multiple game modes focused on social gameplay, party gameplay, romance, relationship drama, and chaotic game-night moments.
First Release Changelog:
● Added a new playable Twister Mat object and Twister Box.
Twister Mat can now:
Be stored in inventory or in the Twister Box
Be carried around by Sims
Be dragged and repositioned during Live mode.
Five Gameplay interactions:
● Casual Twister Game
Builds Friendship while increasing Social and Fun needs
Attracted Sims in a Flirty mood may attempt romantic advances during the game, causing the interaction to switch into a Flirty Twister Game
A notification will appear during gameplay to let the player know when a romantic advance is about to happen
Repeated rejection can create awkwardness and negative sentiments
Includes relationship protection systems for Loyal Sims and Soulmates
● Flirty Twister Game
Builds a little bit of Romance while increasing Social and Fun needs
Your active Sim becomes the one initiating the romantic advances instead of only receiving them, like in Casual Twister
The same attraction, compatibility, mood, personality, relationship rules, reactions, sentiments, and consequences from Casual Twister apply here as well
Repeated rejection can create awkwardness, negative sentiments, and relationship damage
Nearby partners may react emotionally if they witness the interaction
● Intimate Twister Game
Builds Romance while increasing Social and Fun needs
Requires 30 Romance and First Kiss before becoming available
Focuses more on romantic closeness and couple-focused gameplay
stronger romantic buffs like Heated Game that improve romantic success chances and encourage continued romantic interactions afterward
● Drinking Twister Game
Increases Fun and Social while focusing more on party-style gameplay
Both Sims compete simultaneously instead of taking turns
The Sim who loses or falls during a round has to drink, and the first Sim to finish their drink loses the game, while the Sim with drink remaining wins
Includes scoring systems along with winner and loser moodlets
Certain loser buffs can increase friendship and romance building or make attracted Sims more likely to attempt romantic advances during future Casual Twister games
● Competitive Twister Game
Fast simultaneous gameplay instead of turn-based gameplay
Includes a best-of-five scoring system with winner and loser outcomes
Focuses purely on competition, replayability, and social gameplay
Does not include romantic advances, flirty reactions, or relationship drama systems
Designed more like a fun social mini-game similar to Ping Pong or other competitive activities in The Sims
Twister Behavior Settings:
Allow Flirty Advances → Other Sims can flirt with this Sim during Twister
Block Flirty Advances → Prevents all romantic advances during Twister
Always Accept → This Sim will always accept romantic advances
Always Reject → This Sim will always reject romantic advances
Always Reject Non-Partners → Only romantic partners can flirt successfully with this Sim
Decide Autonomously → This Sim reacts naturally based on gameplay conditions
Encourage Flirty Attention → Makes other Sims much more likely to flirt with this Sim during Twister
Things to Clarify:
Twister animations require open space around the mat due to large body movements and repositioning
Because the twister animations are a bit close to each then Casual Twister requires in 30 Friendship before becoming available, you can't play with strangers
Intimate Twister requires 30 in Romance and First Kiss
The flirty gameplay behavior is also not completely random and follows the normal romantic interaction conditions from The Sims, since romantic advances during Twister are still treated as actual flirty interactions in-game.
This means Sims still need the proper attraction, compatibility, mood, traits, and relationship conditions before attempting romantic advances. They also need to currently be in a Flirty mood or emotion for the advance to happen in the first place.
I also added extra restrictions on top of the normal Sims system. Sims with the Loyal trait, or Sims who already have a Soulmate, will never attempt romantic advances during Casual Twister.

Progressive Flirty Twister gameplay, where animations slowly become bolder as the interaction continues
More intimate animation progression for Intimate Twister
Additional winner and loser reactions
More partner jealousy and relationship reaction systems
More animation variations across all game modes
Extra moodlets, buffs, and sentiments
Additional group and party-focused gameplay ideas
How to install :
This mod needs the Lot 51 Core Library. You can download it here: https://lot51.cc/core
Just put my mods and the Lot 51 Core Library into your Sims 4 Mods folder.
Remember to update them, remove the older ones, and replace them with new ones.
If you are using my other mods, you don't need to remove the XML injector since my other mods still use it.

Hiya, great mod, its nice to have an extra activity. Just a little bit of feed back, I noticed when doing the flirty version if a partner observes their partner doing a flirt version with another sim they will get the angry buff even tho they have their boundaries to allow such behaviour.

Thank you! 😊 Kids are a little more complicated than they might seem because they use a different rig from teens and adults. I haven't really looked deeply into whether I can adapt my current animations to work properly with them yet, so I can't promise anything, but it's something I may experiment with in the future.

Yes, it's compatible with the most recent game patch! You should download all three files. One is the main mod package, one is for the Twister Mat, and the other is for the deco box (optional). They each contain a different part of the mod, so keep all three installed. 😊

Sorry for the very late answer! No, you don't need to put Lot51 Core in the same folder as the Twister Mod. You can keep Lot51 in its own folder in your Mods folder. Just make sure it's installed correctly and isn't too deeply nested.

Sorry for the late answer! I've been so caught up working on some of the newer mods that I'm only now getting back through comments I missed. Basemental compatibility for the Drinking mode is actually an interesting idea. I haven't looked deeply enough into how their system works yet to know what would be possible, but it's something I'd be interested in looking into.
This Mod looks incredible and I was so excited to put it into my game, but I seem to be having issues with the mat. The box appears, the mat appears but the mat has no interactions when I click on it, and I can't store the mat in the box. I'll try removing my other mods to see if it's conflicting with something. Update: Deleted all my mods and tried it with only this mod and Lot 51 installed and it still didn't work. I can't even put the mat or box in my inventory. It only gives me the option to sell them in my inventory. I'll wait patiently for a fix :)
