NEW VIDEO in editing! Here's some stills!

So I kinda had this epiphany a week or so ago when I saw Mandy (which no, this video is not about) where I felt like that film was so unapologetically itself and wasn't scared to break rules, try new things and be really boldly personal and emotional. SO, I went out and got a few things and took this script I wrote a couple weeks ago, got out my camera and am now making the first video essay on the channel that is entirely live action. I shot in multiple locations (still have a couple to film for but should be fairly easy, the bulk of it is done) and I got over 90 minutes of footage that I'm currently cutting down into a realistic video length. It's about Halloween as a holiday and why I'm so obsessed with it, and to add on a little clickbait addendum, the answer might shock you.

So enjoy stills! Which is going to be a new thing I'm going to do as time marches on. Due to the overwhelming size and scope of this video, it's gonna take awhile, probably like a week of just editing every day, so don't expect to see it tomorrow or anything. BUT it will be out by the end of the month and it's honestly some of my best work.

This little epiphany I had was mostly just the feeling of permission. It was as if a movie told me to just go nuts and do the loudest, bravest stuff regardless of what others thing. As they say 'good art is exclusive' it's for you guys, those that really get and appreciate me and what I'm doing here. I hope you love it as much as I currently do. I love my work again and it's bliss, and hopefully it shows.
