The Nun is a Trash Baby Queen
Hey there loves! I've been missing you all this month. I've been so busy redesigning my home for filming that I have barely had a moment to do much else. However, I was able to go see the Nun and...it hit the spot, holy shit. Anyways, I'm working on a couple larger video essays now, still in the writing stage but my home is now ready for filming so when I'm ready to go with a script I'll be working with it.
I'll keep you posted on all that as progress is made. I love you all! I hope you enjoy the video!

Sounds like you were having nun of it! (runs away)
I thought the movie was pretty fun, it had all of the super clunky editing and irritating sound design that nearly all big budget horror movies do. The bit where the Priest is trying to get into the nunnery is so infuriating, he stands in front of the deliveries room and everyone gets it instantly then it shows the door and then it has the freaking voice over and it's like being beaten over the head with a blunt object. I really think this is a 'we need to get everyone to see this!' big budget and big studio issue. Anyways, I had a lot of fun watching this movie, it was wild. Here's some 'badass' things that happened that you didn't mention: when they get Jesus' blood Frenchy says "Holy shit!" to which the priest replies "The holiest." When they kill the zombie nun in the chapel with fire, in the next the good nun is taking her vows and there's an overhead shot where she's lying on the floor and three feet away from here is the ash shape of a nun.
Random observation: I’m kinda done with upside-down crosses as symbols of demonic influence. Like, it’s really lazy coding, also it’s a friggin’ Catholic holy symbol. It’s St. Peter’s Cross. If a nun in the 50s saw one, they wouldn’t think anything of it.
It went straight from Evil Dead to Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight (which is something I wish we'd gotten a franchise of, not just the one good movie, and then the unrelated movie with Dennis Miller.)
Lol " What are these conjuring movies?"
Dammit now I want to see it. Great video by the way!
LUV the energy of this vid
