The Next Couple Things

Hey there!

So I thought I should give you all a brief update/reiteration of a couple things. Firstly I'm working on putting together a couple little quick videos. I'm gonna do a lil sumptin about David Lynch and how he actively engages in Death of the Author so people will talk about his films instead of him. And then I wanna put something together about Wish Upon, the funniest film of the year. Really I just want to get people to go see the movie and have a good time, so that video will be a lot less about anything all that important.

Both of these videos are somewhat written. The Wish Upon video needs to be reformatted a bit and then it should be good to go. The David Lynch video is just an outline at this point but it is very thorough and should translate to a script very easily.

These videos are going to see a small change in format. I'm going to shoot them against a backdrop of a spooky castle that I brought because I'm a loser. I decided that I should probably have a way to make distinctions between my content to keep things fresh. Like, 'The Show' is where I tackle big stuff and it has to feel important and neat and whatever. So the backdrop will serve the smaller purposes that don't require such a huge set up.

So consider this a bit of a demo on a new setup while I consider what my next huge project will be. There are a lot of options on that but none of them are really striking me in a big way right now. I'm gonna sit down and watch some stuff and try to gather some decent options, but until then, these couple videos should do.

Also, The next Patreon Livestream will be on Saturday the 22nd at 12pm Central Time for those of you that are able to attend. That should be a good fun time and I look forward to meeting those of you that I haven't met yet. Until then, my Discord server is a good place to chat with me while I work.

That should do it for this update. I look forward to speaking to you all soon!
