Hazelnut Latte v0.15 Alpha 1 Progress Report 1/20/26

Howdy and welcome to another progress report!

We've been steadily moving along with the production of the next build of Hazelnut Latte. I removed the progress bars that had reached 100% last week, freeing up some space.

Lotus is still working on getting the in-game menus up and running and is nearly done! The last thing we need to do is the History screen, where you can review past conversations. There are a few things left to implement, but we're waiting for the assets to be completed before we can finish them.

All of the lewd scene animations are done! Koth is now working on additional animations for special moments to hopefully make the game pop and feel more immersive!

Speaking of which, two more special moments were completed! We need two more for this first Alpha, which will be handled by Pamika while Kokman moves on to the second Alpha.

More UI art was completed! We also removed one since we were playing with an idea and doing concepts, but decided not to implement it until we had a better idea.

But we are moving along at a good pace! Soon, I want to pivot to giving v0.15 another script pass to make sure it's solid. We're still waiting on music, but I think we'll start doing audio passes soon without music.

Once all of the UI Art is done, we'll have a much better idea of where we stand.

The next month or so will be weird for me, since it's almost Tax Season, which is a huge drag since the IRS bleeds me dry. Not to mention I'm moving again! Yippie! It won't affect development; I'll just be packing boxes while working on things.
