Hazelnut Latte v0.15 Progress Report 11/18/25
Hello everyone! New week, new report, so let's get into it.
We have finished the video and image displayer! Now we can play the lewd scenes and show off special moments in the game. This is already working rather nicely, and we are adding in the scenes that are ready to the game.
The Secret System is doing very well, as can be seen by the perfect percentage it is at. It is progressing nicely and continues to absolutely blow my mind. To help with this, Koth will be working more hours per week, because he's a beast and we love him.
Animations have had a bit of a standstill as we reorganize and redo how we want animations to be portrayed in the game. The way we want to do it is a bit ambitious, but it will save us a lot of storage space. Which is good, when you have a game this big.
Lewd scenes are going well! We are almost done with the scene we're in the middle of; some of it is fully rendered, while some of it is still in the sketch phase. After this is done, we have one more lewd scene to do for the episode.
In the next day or so, a new background should be completed, as it is very close and looks great. This is a new location and the first of three at this spot.
One of our VAs has delivered some incredibly juicy voice work for one of our new characters, more on that to come!
In terms of writing, last week I wrote about 5k words for Episode 2 of Hazelnut Latte and another 5k for the Secret Project. For HL, I just got done with the Noto's bit, and I got done writing a weird alternate route that I'm sure some of you will enjoy. This week my goal is to see if I can finish writing Hazel's last scene of Ep 2 at the motel, but that won't be all I need to write.
Currently, the redux script is at 46,547 words, which is longer than the original first three episodes combined (which was 40k words), and I'm not even done with Episode 2, so this thing is going to be crazy.
I have more news, but it's something that is in the works, and I don't want to announce it prematurely.

In how much time do you estimate that the update will come
I don't like announcing dates until I am 110% certain it will come out that day. If I guess now, everyone will take that as the release window, and we're not in a position to commit to that. But the build is progressing well!
Would it be possible to make a game over where we become one of the mob boss's femboys and have to work off a debt?
