Might not be a good solution to give two brothers boxing gloves and fight it out. @Ron: Sanji did fight back. He threw a punch against the oldest, Ichiji. It produced a clank sound that was clearly audible. It isn't a fair fight. You will soon know why that was the case. However Sanji is the only one who is a normal, regular child amongst all the siblings.

It gets explained why soon but Sanji actually did try to fight back as a kid and it showed what happened. His punch did nothing to his brothers and he hurt his own hand instead.

You will understand why reiju didn't help sanji when her other brothers is there, and why saved luffy about the poison
