Awesomeness. Thanks for checking out this legendary anime! Master Roshi is definitely a perv and a Turtle Hermit. Great character.
Honestly, Bulma is mad wild/rachet in this series and it doesn't get much better in Dragon Ball Z
You know the language of the shows are interesting I grew up watching dragon ball in Spanish and the dialogue was funny as hell same with Pokemon, but it was manly team rocket they were unhinged and funny to the bone they were actually the reason why a lot of people even watch Pokémon in Mexico and when I came here I found out that ash was the savage one not team rocket 🤣🤣🤣
I read somewhere that Toriyama wanted to challenge himself which is why Bulma has different hairstyles/outfits
og db is such a therapeutic show for me. i try to rewatch every few years
I’m actually really hyped to watch your guys’ journey from Dragon Ball OG all the way to the Dragon Ball Super Hero movie. It’s all connected and goddamn is it peak
Bulma just showing every damn thang for a piece of change
Yes early dragon ball is based on Sun Wukong/the Chinese story “Journey to the West”. Goku’s full name is Son Goku, which is the Japanese translation of “Sun Wukong”
Anyone that knows dragon ball what is better to watch OG DBZ or DBZ Kai? Kai has to look better and be more cinematic right?
A lot of western/american fans never grew out of the NOSTALGIA and are obsessed with Bruce Faulconer when it was Scott Morgan, Mike Smith, and Julius Debus who created the OST. I say it depends how you watch it. When I watch it in SUB, I would watch OG DBZ but if I watch it in DUB I will watch DBZ KAI (better voice acting in the dub and the animation been upscaled.
"Some people eat anything, not me though" when he ate a whole wolf the last episode lol Goku is so funny. When Roshi asked Bulma if he can see her underwear I immediately thought of Brook. 💀 Shoutout Yaboyroshi 🔥
A funny detail that got left out is that Bulma's in a rush because she's on summer break and she wants her wish before she has to go back to school
It’s so fun watching you guys enjoy dragon ball. Seeing you guys have a good time is really making me happy. Thank you
Y'all on Ep 3 and Brandon only have 3 eps left until he enters Z only took him a year lol
2:53 bruh turtle was lying obviously u can eat turtles he said that shit so goku won’t eat em
dragon ball began as a loose adaptation of the classic 16th century chinese novel journey to the west and son goku is just sun wukong in japanese as they use the same characters. Kame just means turtle as he is a turtle hermit lol. That robot in the beginning is tori-bot (toriyama's avatar)
Ron you should play black myth wukong on pc it’s peak
At 2:56 the thing on the tree is actually Toriyama's avatar and would use it whenever he was talking to the reader for example in the manga
Came here to say this lol
Emperer Pilouf is prime example of no matter how hard you work you won't always succeed
Bulma for the streets though, girl be flashing people like it's july.
so much fun watching you 2 go through my favorite anime series loving this journey and seeing how much you 2 are enjoying it. agreed the writing and humor is so good and i can't wait until we get to the real peak. especially OG DBZ the grandfather and where things really will pick up get hella extremely good and will love so much 👍👍👍
Yaboyroshi mention 🔥 his early reactions I watched of them was dragon ball super
The second coming of Jiraya (RIP) the goat.
Lowkey leagues worse than jiraya in perviness lol
Another adventure fun vibes anime in the mix is refreshing with all the bleach and one piece war madness ngl
Kame is turtle in japanese Roshi is also called kame senn'in(turtle hermit)
roshi casually asking a minor to show him her panties
It’s only really in the U.S where 16-18 year olds are seen as children. In other parts of the world, including Japan, a 16 year old is old enough to consent. It sounds disgusting to us but normal to foreigners. The fact that Roshi is called a pervert/ not pure kind of makes it less weird because Toriyma is acknowledging that Roshi’s actions are to be looked down at.
I highly recommend you guys to NOT look at the title for Dragon Ball just like you do for One Piece. The spoilers lowkey are worse than One Piece. It'll deadass be like "Goku achieved Sage Mode?" Legit spoils the whole episode sometimes and the biggest surprises.
if thats how it was on tv, just let them be lol asking to avoid ep titles or openings doesnt maske sense
Kame means Turtle
2:56 it's toriyama sensei😭🙏
