Houki and his squad had their own episode a while back but its considered filler so I guess you wouldn’t watch it even though is a cool episode. Himawari also had her own “Ninja training” episode in which she got to know those kids that were following the bandits, also a cool episode but filler. And also there’s an episode showing Tsubaki (samurai girl) being included in that team of girls as Sumire’s replacement.

Eho and Yuina are first introoduced in a filler episode - that's where Himawaridid her ninja trial session. Houki was already introduced as well. We saw his squad acompany Sai on his mission with Sasuke. They've also been seen in the background here and there throughout the episodes. They were in the academy graduation exam when they all combines to do a sealing jutsu on Kakashi, but also had their own filler where Sai took them in as they were a struggling team but he found they were suited to ANBU/reconnaissance.
