BLEACH TYBW EPISODES 11, 12, & 13 REACTION 🔥

Dude is spamming for the impregnation theory bruh like relax bro

Yup, Ichigo is everything, and Gol D. Roger is indeed the progenitor of all quincies lol. These 3 episodes are a mind fuck for sure. Lots of information thrown at you and it's hard to take all of that in in one go. Ichigo has been unknowingly suppressing his power all along. White never lied to him. White always protected him, yet Ichigo rejected that part of himself. Remember what Ulquiorra said when he first met Ichigo. His spiritual pressure fluctuates a lot, and, at its lowest, it's way lower than Ulquiorra, but, at its highest, it's higher than Ulquiorra. When Ichigo went into his inner world in his "bankai," "Tensa Zangetsu" told Ichigo that he and hollow Ichigo were initially the same power. We were told the truth all along. Isshin is the absolute man, as is Masaki. The story of how they meet and fall in love, entangling their destinies together, is absolutely beautiful. The strength that they both have and the love that they have for each other and for their kids is nothing short of amazing. Then Juha Baha (Ywhach, Kubo's own version of the biblical God's name, Yahweh, in Hebrew) takes the lives of Masaki and Katagiri for himself. Ichigo and Uryu became motherless for the king of the quincies (and the pirates lol; I had to 😅). Sadness pervades Bleach, but it's always tinged with a little bit of hope. Echt quincies are pure blood quincies, while gemischt quincies are mixed blood quincies. Masaki was originally an Echt quincy, but, when she was hollowfied, she became a gemischt quincy. Cour 1 is my favorite cour of TYBW, so far (I'll revisit this opinion once cour 4 is over), but the quality does not dip in the next cours, I simply prefer the wonderful story that cour 1 presents, especially with how they unveiled Ichigo's true powers and origins. The first half of cour 1 brought the hype and the big moments, while the second half of cour 1 brought the character development for our main character. I'm glad y'all are enjoying the TYBW journey 👍

Isshin is literally ichigo but with black hair idk y they had so many doubts of him being ichigos biological father lol

there is theory that ichigo never got his real powers as he never actually took the blue glowing sword witch Yhwach said is her true powers

If u ever have questions I AM BLEACHLORE i know everything about this series

This is why White Ichigo always said: I am Zangetsu!

In the flashback of the thousand year blood war, the broadcast episode changed Yhwach's appearance to be the same because it would've spoiled his identity since he looked just like Old man Zangetsu. The bluray footage has his original, younger look though. Both the Japanese sub and english dub kept the original zangetsu voice actor for Yhwach. People back in the day actually first clocked his appearance and tied it to omz

love how they're too focused on the "getting prgnant" thing lol

See, now that she stopped reading the manga, she is starting to say anything lmao. i knew you were a reader from the beginning

Let's go?

Best father in anime? Omg. Wait till 1136

I joined to see tybw with yall ⭐🔥

what is this week schedule like? Wasn't mentally prepared for the triple drops :p

U should watch in youtube ichigo first time met old man zangetsu OMZ actually tried to save his real name but was silenced

The Sun in this BLEACH poem is a metaphor for something bright, essential, warm, and life-giving—a central force that illuminates and sustains everything around it. Masaki is often described in the story as “like a sun”: he attracts people, forgives, lights up lives and becomes the emotional center of his family (everyone revolves around his warmth and energy). To love someone unconditionally is to see their inner brightness and warmth, regardless of their flaws, mistakes or “sins”. The sun continues to shine and give life even when it is scorching; it symbolizes constant and forgiving love providing warmth even with flaws.

I really hope you guys rewatch these episodes after riding "the high" of all the new info...When rewatched with a more poised view, everything comes together so perfectly. Kubo is so goated

first prototyp spada his name was "blanco"

Other than Ichigo looking extremely similar to Kaien Shiba, another early indicator of Ichigo belonging to the Shiba clan is his relationship with Ganju. Ichigo and his dad always fight each other. Ichigo and Ganju instantly started fighting in the same way when they met somewhere around episode 25. Ganju and his sister Kukaku also fight all the time. Theyve all acted very similar from the beginning!

“Sasuke does this everytime” got me dead! 😂😂😂

49:10 regardless if ur bad at dissecting poems or not. kubo's poems are extremely overrated. they're generic and abstract and u cant interpret them any real significant way. he's just not good at that kind of thing. it's like those art pieces in museums that are scribbles on a piece of paper, and ur supposed to look at it and form ur own ideas about it. i prefer writers that put actual meaning into their poems so dont feel bad about not getting the meaning of whatever kubo's writing, there is no meaning, u can just say how u feel about the poem and it'll be valid. most reactors just say "i dont get it" and move on to the next episode which is def understandable too.

Game of Thrones was peak television for its first 4 seasons. Seasons 5&6 was still great television but you started to see the cracks and drop in quality in the dialogue and plot. Season 7 was bad but still watchable. And we don’t talk about season 8.

Lol I dont think Ishida's dad was ever truly in love with Ichigo's mom. He was just fulfilling his duty for his family's bloodline sake. It was an arranged situation. Which is why he was so "worried" about her getting hurt. It wasn't cuz he cared about her, it was because he wanted to save his Quincy heritage.

so, who taught Ichigo's final getsuga? his quincy power?

I can’t wait for you guys to see what mayuri is up to 😭😭😭

Wow I love episode 12 sooooo much I can’t believe I’d forgotten

I’ve never subbed to a patreon before. But I had to just to see yalls reactions. It really feel like yall are enjoying bleach just as much as I did and am still am. Favorite series ever fr. Thank yall

Well I’m sure matsumoto, toshiro, and the others didn’t know initially ichigo was ishinn kid because he has his mothers last name. But im sure they figured it out later on and kept it to themselves. Obviously Aizen and the gang knew though.

damn this is changes everything

They never said you have to be pregnant ,,, they simp,y said before birth

The truth is finally out yippie 😄🎊 Not only is Ichigo a hybrid, he’s got insane genes too 👨‍👩‍👦 Daddy is Isshin SHIBA. The Shiba Clan is one of the Five Great Noble Clans. Mommy is an Echt Quincy (pure-blooded), top-class powers. And additionally to basically being royalty, he also has a crazy strong Hollow inside him 👑 I’m honestly surprised Ron didn’t scream when Urahara revealed the gigai (thinking about those JJK theories 😉) 😄 If you ever rewatch the series, you’ll catch SO much foreshadowing and hints you completely missed the first time. No kidding, every rewatch comes with a new mindblow 🫠 One of my favorite (manga) moments is when Ichigo first meets White in his inner world. White calls him “partner,” but Ichigo sees him as the enemy and you can see White's sad expression reflected in the sword 🥹 “The blade is me.” Perfect. ⭐️ Full acceptance of who and what he is 💪 Btw: Ryuken (Uryuu’s dad) and Masaki aren’t related. She only said they're cousins bc it’d be improper to live together unmarried. She just wanted no school drama 🫢 Headcanon: Mugetsu (Ichigo’s final form in the Aizen fight) is Quincy-coded. Black hair, red eyes? -> Yhwach! One ultimate attack that costs all your powers? -> Uryuu’s "Letzt Stil" attack against Mayuri in the Soul Society Arc. No coincidences in Kubo's work~ Now the real war arc starts 😎⚔️

Here are the episodes and moments that you can re-watch in your own time (or even record it, if you want) for the crucial moments with the knowledge you have right now: - episode 19, somewhere in the middle, Ichigo meets "Zangetsu" for the first time - episode 58, somewhere in the middle, Byakuya reacting to Ichigo's "bankai" - episode 111 & 112, end of 111 & beginning of 112, Isshin Soul Reaper form and talk with Urahara - episode 143, at the end, Isshin's and Ryuken's first ever interaction we see

You guys truly let me relive this experience! Super grateful for that! Again, much love! Keep going! 👏🏼

[Tidbits Ep.13] [Lot of Reaing, lol (For those interested in particular details)] - This episode is so important because it effectively finishes off Ichigo's character development. As we all know the Zanpaktou is representative of a Characters self progression and Here Ichigo finally gets a Completed Zanpaktou. Both parts of Zangetsu finally accept Ichigo because Ichigo finally accepts and loves himself, Which is something he couldn't do given his trauma (Blaming himself for his mother death). -Throughout the entire show Ichigo's Quincy power never said he was Zangetsu, in fact, the first & only time that part of Ichigo's soul spoke its name, we could not hear it. More important is that if you go back through the story "White" always told us that he is Zangetsu. Think about the entire SS arc, it was actually White that kept saving Ichigo. Kubo loves writing in this fashion where he blends Metaphors and Foreshadowing to make the viewers that pay attention cling to a false understanding. - Some still question "Then how did Ichigo have a Zanpaktou all this time". The hollow "White" was made from Shinigami Souls, so practically Ichigo had something akin to an Asauchi, yet made with a hollow as a base. This is also why whenever he got stronger as a Shinigami, His hollow powers did as well because his Shinigami and Hollow Powers are one. - It's really cool how Kubo uses Ichigo being a mixed breed to show that he has Quincy Powers, we can assume that this Young Ywach looking being existed in all Quincy, but unlike Ichigo, Quincies can't visit their inner soul...only Shinigami can, so Ichigo would be the only one in existence able of experiencing this. -This part of Ichigo that looks like Young Ywach seems to carry Quincy intent, yet also seeks to protect Ichigo. I always found it fascinating because this Quincy part of him believed becoming a Shinigami = Conflict and suffering so he actively tried to keep that from happening. I still wonder if maybe this belief comes from Ywach himself. (This is especially important in that he decided to not "kill" Ichigo as planned because Ichigo choose a path of suffering to achieve his desires of his own free will [This is important for the theme Kubo is going for so remember it]) - From what I recall Ichigo's long Blade is representative of his Shinigami & Hollow powers while the short blade is his Quincy powers. - Bleach blends Buddhist themes and Christian themes when crafting its lore. Buddhism has a concept known as Samsara and within that concept, you have something known as 6 Paths, 3 of them are virtuous paths and the other 3 are unbenelovent paths...One of those "bad" paths is the Animal path, which plays into Komamura's clan being beast. - Oetsu say go-ichi because "Ichi" means 1, and Oetsu considers himself number 1 so he flips the order of Ichigo's name, because "go" in Japanese means 5

[Tidbits Ep.12] - That last bit about Yhwach being responsible for Masaki's death is also important because Ichigo still carries that trauma, he still blamed himself for his mother's death, He couldn't accept himself because he was the cause of his greatest failure, and now he has a true target to point his blade towards. - The special Gigai Urahara used with Isshin was the same kind Urahara used in an attempt to secretly turn Rukia Human. - Sidenote: Something that people don't question is, where or from who did Urahara get human souls to make his special Gigai??? It's unlikely that it was from a willing participant.

[Tidbits Ep.11] - Ichigo running away from the conversation was always a nice bit for me because it's not the 1st time he's done so, Ichigo will run head first into a physical fight but battles that deal with the mind and soul scare him. [Definitions for Some of those Quincy Words] - Seiren is the name for Quincy Training it means "Holy Training" -Funfte Feld is a training location for Quincy (Given what Ryukens mother says, it can be assumed that his Father spends more time training his Quincy abilities than with his family) - Echt Quincy are Quincy that are part of pure-blood lines (He we learn that both the Ishida and Kurosaki families are Pure-Blood Quincies) (Quilge J-The Jail was one, and many Assume Haschwalth is as well) - Gemischt Quincy are Quincy with mixed blood and seem to be of somewhat lower class than Echt Quincy - Many were confused by Misaki calling Ryuken's Mother "Aunt Izumi" seeing as tho there seems to be some talk of marriage. Misaki is the last living member of a pure-blood Quincy Lineage (They took her in seemingly for that reason, which is why Ryuken questions if she'd be happy marrying him). So this doesn't prove any direct blood relation between them (So we don't know exactly how related the families were if it all aside from being Pure Quincy) - Aizen, Gin, and Tosen are using the Cloaks that Hide people's spiritual pressence. Urahara invented and used during it during the Turn Back the Pendulumn flash back to sneak up on Aizen. - In the manga when Aizen slashes Isshin, we learn that he does so to stop Isshin from using Bankai, apparently Isshin bankai takes a toll on his body so he cant activate it if he's sustained a certain amount of damage - Given the conversation between Aizen and Tosen, they made White to hollowfy Shinigami, White seems to have chosen Misaki to hollowfy, which clearly has never been done. (It was cool to see something that genuinely excites Aizen, cant forget that he's a scientist and the idea of discovering something new truly excited him)

The "before reveal" theories are WILD!!! 🤣🤣🤣 But the reactions have been sooo good!!! Everything coming together is just so satisfying!!! 😏🙂‍↕️🤩 I LOVE it!!! 🤩

As much as I love the triple drops, I def feel y'all when you say it's almost too much. Kubo really put his all into making every episode super dense with Lore and foreshadowing so that people could spend the week between episodes to digest it and make all the connections. It's just like how they say you actually retain more studying a few times for 30min than you would from a 2hr study sesh! I could legit write a book just connecting all the stuff from these 3 episodes lol

Ron pls enough with the "this changes everything"

Then you realise when white told ichigo he was zangetsu he didn’t lie as we all thought. This reveal was mindblowing

The power up ichigo got fighting kenpachi was a glimpse of his Quincy powers I believe

I think people miss the connection of zangestu and ywach bcuz they do a good job of showing zangetsu a few times early on and then I think after the soul reaper arc (excluding fillers) we never see zangetsu again .. we only see white talking to and helping ichigo

So Ichigo is a human (from Dad's gigai), Soul Reaper (from Dad), hollow (from Mom), and Quincy (from Mom).

It’s a lot to process bcuz the pacing is how the people of today want the pacing lol og long form anime is about to be a thing of the past 🥲🥲 and I’m sad for it

The poems make sense after u see the episode after lol

Bleach is so peak

ryu wasnt in love with masaki. it was his duty to carry the line. and as a husband it would be his duty to make her happy. he is duty driven due to his mother. he didnt even know he was really in love with katagiri. everytime he had something to think about he would go to katagiri, he formed a bond with her since birth. he was just too focused on his duty to even notice. it wasnt really a love triangle as ryu didnt know what love was.

Fun fact ichigo dad has the same va as minato

she is crazier than Mayuri for thinking of putting a human into a gigai

Ichigo’s parents story was amazing sad they didn’t get to live to an old age

This why bleach is one of the best

I don't know if you remember but Ichigo's dad also took on the Kurosaki name

Minato and Ichigo’s father have the same VA lol :D

does ron watch runthefutmarket on yt cause of the this changes everyting lool

Now that you know this, if you go back in the manga all the way to when ichigo first meets old man zangetsu and he cant hear his name, on the manga panel its black out. That's because old man tried to tell ichigo his name was Yhwach and ichibe had erased his name. meaning that yhwach has been foreshadowed since the start of bleach this entire time.

Still trying to hold on to op and Naruto having better arcs is forced at this point lol no way nothing compares to cour 1 tybw … and im strictly basing it off your reactions

Ichigo is everything else, but actual human haha :D

Are yall going to do a discussion for cour 1 before doing cour 2?

lol, Aizen is the father of Bleach. We all know we just live in Aizen's plans.

Minato and Ichigo’s father is the same VA. He’s in so many anime you watch. Master of Demon Slayer(blind guy) Enel and Hachi in ONE PIECE Minato and Kimimaro in Naruto

Ichigo = Human, Soul Reaper, Fullbringer, Quincy, Hollow, Shiba clan member, cousin of Ishida family, member of Kurosaki family. He's the most main character main character ever lol Remember when Aizen was telling Ichigo he knew about him since he was born? When he said "Because you're a human and..." then Isshin interrupted him. In that episode the show lead you on to believe Aizen was gonna say "soul reaper" but he was probably gonna add in "Quincy" too. To answer Michelle's question, Ryuu's father is Soken Ishida. You guys have seen him before in flashbacks back in season 1-3. It's Uryuu's grandfather who kinda looks like Einstein. I think Kisuke, Kukaku, Ganju, Hitsugaya and Rangiku didn't tell Ichigo anything out of respect for Isshin and let Isshin decide when he wants to tell Ichigo everything himself. Now that the completion of Ichigo's character is finalized, he is now the 3rd person to have a dual wield zanpakuto alongside Shunsui and Ukitake. As far as Ywhach's name is said, you can just call him Yuha for short.

Echt mean real in Dutch and German

I’m dead bro the theories were beyond off this ep

i feel like they dropped the ball by not having Yhwach call Uryu "My Son, born in the light". It would have been a perfect contrast to Ichigos "Son, born in the dark". Seeing as Ichigo was left in the dark about being a Quincy. But Uryu was always in the light and aware of who he was. Also i have a theory that Izumi Ishida (Ryuken's Mom and Uryu's Grandma) was actually attacked by a Hollow as well. The "Burn" mark that was shown was probably her wound site. Would make sense since she seems to beware of the procedure and treatment regarding Quincies who have been attacked by Hollows. Perhaps she didn't get to the point that Misaki did with the whole hole thing which is why she called Misaki a "Thing". Also during the Auswahlen which was 9 years ago this is when the Quincy King regained his strength by taking it from the quinces he deemed unfit or unworthy. Misaki's Royal Echt Quincy blood was tainted because of her interaction with White and Katagiri is a Gemischt Quincy so either she was a lower class quincy or she was actually fragile as stated and the taking of her powers killed her

Blade is Me is one of the peaks of the whole story. It is the result of a slow, painful, gradual, but meaningful journey in Ichigo's life as he attempts to reach self-actualisation. The journey had its ups and downs, but we made it in the end. It is truly one of the best depictions of enlightenment in all of fiction. 2:56 Oh-etsu's monologue on Asauchi is quite important. Asauchi are like a blank canvas that the Shinigami paint on to make their zanpakuto. But Ichigo never had that, and he has been fighting without it all this time. Ichigo manifested a sword on his own, and guess who does that with their weapons? Quincies. That explains why Tessai(Urahara's assistant) was shocked when Ichigo awakened his fake zanpakuto for the first time in OG Bleach. Echt Quincies are pure-blooded while Gemichts are impure. The panels where Aizen says, "Let's see what happens" at 19:18 and "Don't you want to see what happens next" give us the pure version of what he is. Aizen acts like an architect (one who planned everything), but he is a gardener at heart (one who plants seeds and lets things play out on their own). During OG Bleach, Aizen said to Ichigo how he planned out his birth, but we see that it is not the case. Aizen was present when Isshin and Masaki met, but, as Tosen said, it was not part of the plan. 33:50 It is interesting that Masaki said this about the hollow inside her. That's something to dwell on. One interesting thing about Ichigo's fake Bankai in OG Bleach is that it looks like Yamamoto's Bankai. That is because Old Man Zangetsu experienced battling Yama and decided to manifest one for Ichigo, modelled after Yama's own Bankai. I love Old Man Zangetsu and White Ichigo so much. OMZ is the representation of Yhwach from 1000 years ago, while White is the representation of Aizen. But both spirits are filtered through Masaki's love as they take shape within Ichigo. When Ichigo fought Kenpachi in the Soul Society arc, many had wondered how the result ended up being a stalemate. But with the information given to us through TYBW, we can understand why that was the case. Kenny was suppressing himself while OMZ was letting Ichigo access his true powers while also using Blut Vene to stop Ichigo's bleeding. Also, another interesting thing is how Ichigo looked during the Final Getsugatensho. His looks were similar to Yhwach's as he had red eyes and long black hair. The "Is" in Blade Is Me is highlighted. Before this moment, there were chapters called Blade and Me. So Ichigo is basically taking control over the story from the mangaka himself and carving into the title to shape his destiny. That's so meta. Lastly, Cour 1 is among the best in terms of production that we have seen in any anime. That being said, Cour 2 is a step down (but still good enough, imo, half of the episodes are still produced well) as there was only a 6-month gap between it and Cour 1. Also, there were some production issues that they had, which resulted in a dip in quality.

I've been here since the start of your guys bleach journey, rewatching it with you guys made me realize how much more i love this anime, I'm glad you guys are enjoying it and cant wait to see more.

14:20, 33:05, 43:55 PEAK SOAP OPERA DRAMA 20:50 Michelle "I would definitely read a fanfic about their love"😭 26:15 Ron "IM JK MICHELLE I LOVE YOU SO MUCH" LOOOL yall are a vibe😂😂 1:10:00 GOOSEBUMPS THE BLADE IS ME!

THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING !!!!!!

Y’all should do a cour 1 debrief and go through some mod selected comments. There’s a lot of misconceptions you guys have and things you didn’t quite pick up on

I think ron took a visgra before this ep😭😭😭

There has been so much foreshadowing throughout the show. Zangetsu has always looked like Yhwach, Halibel stating that Ichigo vs Grimmjow felt like 2 espada fighting, White always telling Ichigo that he is his zanpakato etc.

Think about it…everybody knew that Minato was Naruto’s dad and never said anything lmao

No she did not get impregnated by the hollow good god😭😭😭😭😭

Good guy Kubo, in an industry filled with dubious age relationships, he has Masaki and Isshin not actually start a relationship until she was at least in college and it starts with them just being friendly.

Yall did the first cour so much yall still need to see can’t wait im hyped for yall 💯💯

The amount of impreg fetish talk in episode 11 was wild. 😭

Hollow impregnated his mother……….. put down the crack pipe 😂😂

because u guys make everything stupid complicated when its really not

IVE BEEN WAITINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

No why did you actually look like Owen Wilson thoo🤣

The peak is me

Someone needs to go back to health class. How in the hell yall thought the hollow impregnated her by biting her ??? lmao

i just dont understand how this shit about him not being his dad came from and they ran with it

Did you guys catch Isshin’s last name? It was introduced as Isshin Shiba. Theres your confirmation of Ichigo being a part of the Shiba clan as well as a cousin of the Ishida family. Ryuuken married Katagiri. Btw

michelle almost getting tripped up by yhwach "son" comment lmaoooooo

y'all a bit too focused on getting pregnant aspect, urahara literally explaining the scenario....

Now that it's said. Ichigo's true last name is Shiba. He's the cousin of Kaien, rukias mentor who died. And the cousins to ganja and his sister who I forgot the name of. That's why they all look alike. They are blood. As for toshiro and matsumoto they never mention ichigos dad in the Manga, I think it's pretty much canon now that they chose to not say anything and let him live his new life with his family.

Sasuke always does this shit..LOL

I wonder if they'll think the same thing half way through the 3rd cour, if you know, you know.

The reveal of old man Zangetsu being Ichigo's quincy powers and the manifestation of Yhwach from 1000 years ago is so good. The VA is the same and they look practically identical besides the moustache being grown out more yet most people don't expect the reveal. Honestly brilliant. I have more to say but I shall wait until you guys have seen certain scenes as they are important for context. THE BLADE IS ME.

This problem is like the 10 years bleach was out. In past this kind of anime got more than 100 episodes, it was crazy, so they made it more slow, slow, slow because of the pacing of the manga and etc. Nowadays anime solve the stories in a fast fucking pacing LOL, i know what you guys are saying about "it's too much", but this is the legacy of this anime, two periods where anime was and is treated in different ways.

For clarification, Ryuken(Uryu’s dad) was not in love with Masaki, he was doing it specifically for the Quincy pure bloodline, he was hurt/sad in the rain, because he felt that he failed the Quincy in the end. Also, there has been SO MANY hints of everything throughout the entire bleach story, so all of these things were foreshadowed before throughout the show. Also, lol Ryuken’s dad is Uryu’s grandfather and teacher. The same one mayuri dissected and experimented on(mentioned during the fight between he and Uryu).

Realizing just now that Ichigo is born from two hybrids. Soulreaper Human and Quincy Hollow. No wonder hes a freak of nature

Ron said his name right at first then ofc messed it up I know its a meme u suck at names the pronunciation is pretty easy even tho his name does look hard af to say. "You ha ba ha" or just say you ha

Lord they overthink to the max. First the hollow bit her and she got pregnant or the other stuff they was saying that confused me. They simply just fell in love and had children. Isshin got her pregnant lol . It was explained last reaction the royal palace wont recreate the same exact zanpakuto but something similar to it so thats why its different.

they thinking the hollow made Ichigo mom pregnant is frying me first thing I thought was mixed dna glad they know now

You guys dont realize it but EVERYTIME Ichigo goes to that place to do any form of training, despite the imposter helping...its ALWAYS his hollow/WHITE hes pitted against to fight. Its always WHITE that gets angry at Ichigo and wants to protect him. Its always WHITE that protects Ichigo whenever hes in danger, even by taking over his body. Its was always almost as if the imposter was just a spectator there. I watched this and felt so stupid that I didnt see the connection before. Esp in his training to learn the Final Getsuga Tensho because thats where it was most evident. Only WHITE could have taught him that because HE was Zangetsu all along. And that just makes me feel so bad everytime I watch that fight when he stabs Ichigo and then tells him, crying, that hes the one that he always wanted to protect all along. This is PEAK writing from Kubo and this bit of the story is why I rank Bleach over Naruto...damn near close to One Piece level writing. This shit is SO PEAK! Well...seems I wrote this too soon lol. The ending explained it all...

Isshin is Ichigos actual biological father and it was stated during the fight with Aizen. Y’all met Uryus grandfather in OG

Yu-ha-ba-ha to help pronounce It’s German I believe

BLEACH THE BEST! ALSO wistoria wand and sword s2 is out!!

Bleach is peak

It’s funny that Ichigo’s father and Tosen is at one place because their VA is same. Just like Moria and Jinbei in Marineford.

Hey mods, please let them know they missed Isshins original last name was Shiba, it’s the same last name of Ganju, Kukaku (the girl who said cousin and sends them in pillars) and Rukias old lieutenant she fought the Espeda pretending to be him, Kaien. It’s one of the five great noble houses in the bleach verse and known for their high spiritual pressure. It’s another reason Isshin and Ichigo have so much power as shinigami

Michelle made this insane prediction back on OG Bleach about Ichigo and his mom possibly being a quincy. I dont remember when exactly it was maybe soul society arc but it was scary how almost spot on the prediction was. If anyone knows what I'm talking about let me know. I usually save time stamps but I didnt for this one and I tried finding the reaction but couldn't lol. Someone even time stamped it and was impressed by Michelle

Ishin was one of the great noble clans. He more than likely was silently disowned when he chose to stay on Earth. So he probably didn’t feel right keeping his name or passing it on.

Yes Isshin is 100% Ichigo's dad. Idk if yall noticed the Shiba name drop in the flashback "Isshin Shiba" this is confirmation that he is Kukaku Shiba's uncle. Kukaku is the fireworks lady who sent Ichigo and everyone into the soul society. Her brother Ganju Shiba was with them. Remember Kaien Shiba who Rukia was close with from Squad 13. We seen how we died in the backstory in soul society arc. Start of OG Bleach, Byakuya says "He does indeed resemble him" referring to Kaien. Later on Ukitake sees Ichigo for the first time shocked asking Byakuya who is he? Byakuya responds "He's not the man who flashed through your mind" referring to Kaien. Ichigo and Kaien are cousins. Also if you look on Ichigo's bed, its a quincy symbol. Crazy foreshadowing. The Yhwach and Zangetsu twist was insane. Michelle you don't gotta dissect the poems, I don't get them either lol. You know its peak when we have 3 triple drops 3 reactions in a row. Ready for next cour, the heat don't stop

“ Zangetsu, I won’t ask for your strength anymore, And I won’t tell you to stay out my way either. I won’t ask you to fight along side me. From here on out I’ll fight on my own. Thank you Zangetsu You…..are me”

Rewatching this with you guys is amazing probably the best people to see appreciate the anime for what it is, and enjoy it how they show, love the content keep it up

One thing they dont highlight so far is that Ichigo is the 3rd ever Soul Reaper to have a dual wield Zanpakuto. The other two are Ukitake and Kyoraku. Dual wielders are said to have particularly complex souls and that perfectly explains Ichigo being a convergence of all powers.

1:13:52 Aizen is the father too 😂 , He could have killed Ichigo's father, and he would never have been born, but he said, "Let him cook." I don't know if you remember the ending when they defeated Aizen. He was looking for someone like himself, soo he decided to create him, someone who would be his equal, and in the end it backfired because Ichigo surpassed his expectations. Also all this time ichigo was never using bankai It was quincy power , Remember the first time he transformed against Byakuya? He said that it was too small to be a Bankai, and he was right, because it wasn't. And lastly, why did they never say anything to Ichigo? I suppose everyone respected Isshin's decision. Also, Ichigo's mother was a beast; imagine him being the offspring of a Soul Reaper with the power of a captain, plus a formidable Quincy, and the power of a Hollow that strong. When u combine that u gotta be op

Lol it's not mentioned in the manga or anime but in an interview with Kubo about why toshiro, rangiku, and kukaku never reacted to ichigo's father or said anything. Apparently toshiro and rangiku found out who he was when they first came to ichigo's house but out of respect to their former captain's reasons they never mentioned it. In the case of kukaku it was said that when ichigo met her and her brother she had suspected they were related and was later confirmed by yoruichi.

Nahh put some respect on yhwach 😂

Now you know why Isshin could not save his wife from the hollow, he didn't have his powers when she was attacked nor could he see them.

Absolute fucking cinema every single episode

Did y'all forget ishidas Grandpa???

Bleach is peak 🔥

If you go back to OG Bleach, White Zangetsu have always told ichigo he was the real zangetsu and i believe he went to that world and it was only them two and ichigo asked “where is zangetsu” and i believe white said “i am him”

did michelle really say minatos a better dad then ishhin

So much of Ichigo's level up is about discovering himself and not just training. It's so dope compared to other MCs And now he's finally learned about his roots and accepted all sides of himself. He's finally in tune and able to use his full power

The whole time I was watching bleach with you guys I was just waiting for these three episodes and y’all didn’t let me down. The lore drop on these three episodes was perfect

where is jojos?

I don’t think uryu dad was in love with ichigo mother. He kept saying it he was doing it for the future of the Quincy. It was basically an arrange marriage. He cared about her but wasn’t in love.

I don't think they knew initially, because his dad changed his name from shiba to kurosaki.

Funny enough ichigo and uryu are cousins

Anyone know if they’re reacting to cour 2 as well ?

The blade is me

There wasn't a whole need to process a lot xD in the Fake Karakura Town Arc when Ichigo was fighting Aizen, Isshin used Getsuga Tensho so we knew he was the real father of Ichigo. Aizen even stated that they were both blood related and we now know that "my son born in the dark" was a metaphoric phrase. But yeah, this is one of the most beautiful love stories I've seen imo and you can really see both Isshin and Masaki sharing similar traits of wanting to protect others without hesitation, same as how Ichigo came to be. Lets all remember that Ichigo is still a 17 year old highschooler in this arc xD. Also, there was some good foreshadowing that the Hollow was the true Zanpakuto. Back in the Visored arc when Ichigo was fighting against his inner Hollow to master Hollowfication, he entered his inner world for it. When he arrived, Ichigo noticed "Old Man Zangetsu" wasn't there, but the Hollow in front of him, asking where is Zangetsu. The Hollow replies, "I am Zangetsu" and says it another time after that. He mentions that the more Ichigo used his Soul Reaper powers, the easier it was to take over his inner world, which makes sense cause the more he used his powers, the stronger he gets, hence the Hollow getting stronger. Ichigo is now in a similar state (but more complete) he was in during his final fight with Aizen as he merges with his powers and becomes one with them, which is what he meant by "you are me" and "the blade is me". Because he now has access to all of his powers, he's supposed to be stronger than he was in that fight.

yo!! at exactly 44:00 When Isshin says THE LINE, you can see literally see HEARTS form in Michelles eye from the reflection of the screen, THATS INSANE LOL ALSO - Yes!!! BLEACH hits 10x harder and more clear when you rewatch it with all the lore you obtain in TYBW. It is exactly how Kubo intended things to be...Its GENIUS writing, its why he drip feeds information and never holds your hand, he lets you try and connect things, respecting that the viewer is intelligent. When I first read TYBW as whole and decided to re-watch BLEACH my eyes were opened and i was legit left in shock as to how next level Kubo is with his foreshadowing and nuiances. Everything from Unohanas character, to YWACH pretending to be Zangetsu and all that. Its honestly what made me put BLEACH above Naruto and OP. Kubos is in a league of his own.

we are so ON

When Ichigo first met old man Zangetsu in episode 19 before the soul society arc, Zangetsu tried to tell Ichigo his name but Ichigo couldn't hear him, after "the blade is me" we found out that he was actually going to tell Ichigo his real name "Yhwach".

1:13:40 Ukitake probably has the biggest reaction to seeing Ichigo for the first time. Which is because he resembles Kaien a bunch, probably from both nature and looks wise

One of the greatest representations of self acceptance in anime, "the blade is me" is probably the most important moment for Ichigos character.

2 things.. kukaku, kaien and Ganju are Ichigo's FIRST cousins... Isshin is literally their uncle.. And Ryuuken's dad is Soken Ishida, Uryuu's master and the one Mayuri experiments on

White uniforms of quincies is so good man, its really opposite of soul reapers

90% of the reaction is them wanting Masaki to get impregnated and then guessing when and how 😭

Kudo with the crazy foreshadowing.

Getting pregnant from being bitten by a hollow and then Isshin raising not his own child is the wildest shit I heard from anyone watching Bleach.

@25:44 it's Sung Jin Woo

Last name shiba like kaien

@12:31 what do u mean who's the dad? that's Uryu's grandfather you already saw him in og bleach

I hope Ron keeps finding ways to say "This changes everything" in every reaction from now on.

its so well written, yhwach wanting to protect ichigo as his son this entire time because he didn’t want him to be a soul reaper, but ichigo just wants to protect those he cares about from harm, so he appreciates everything yhwach has done for him and just embraces it

@7:31 he is not q soul reaper because isshin fvcked masaki in human or gigai form

Yokoso
