Yall would be pissed to know that in the manga Naruto transformed into 9 tails mode when Kawaki flipped the table. It was a cool ass panel of Naruto but it was out of character especially after that backstory

194 shows Kawaki sitting on the riverside while Naruto on higher ground watching over him is also a parallel to the flashback when he and Sasuke were kids, there, young Naruto walk past Sasuke (who is traumatized after the massacre) and stared at him. Also, I really want to say: the toilet fight must be the most realist depiction of sibling relationship in this franchise (because usually...it's...uh...not very normal I'd say). I still can remember every morning I have to compete with my brother and sisters for the usage of washroom, we will have to race and push each other to stop them getting into the washroom, because whoever got in there first will take their sweet time while others screaming him to get out already. (Sigh) the pain...
And it's like calling a kid cute. They know hes traumatized so Ino just wanted to make him feel better complimenting him

Such a great example of a legit trigger caused by trauma. Normally you wouldn't want to touch somebody who's having a trauma response unless you know that's fine but in this case Naruto totally did the right thing. He grounded Kawaki and brought him back from where he went to in his mind. The warmth of a solid chest, a steady heartbeat, and a reassuring hand on the head probably did so much for Kawaki in that moment. I think it would for most people tbh.

Note on language stuff going on!: Kawaki didn't directly call Chocho 'extraordinary'. He said she was "tadamono janee" which is sort of like saying "you're something else" or "you're not one to mess with" or "you're not ordinary". For some reason, crunchyroll translators like to translate negatives to affirmatives. So, 'you're not ordinary' becomes 'you're extraordinary', giving the impression that Kawaki 'likes' Chocho when really he was likely taken aback but slightly impressed, lol.
Best thing about the vase/Yamanaka flower shop scene is that it’s almost like Naruto is healing his inner child. Like yes, he had Iruka and Kakashi but he can relate to Kawaki’s pain firsthand and is healing his younger self by being their for Kawaki ❤️
