The scorpion girl did lure Megumi to what she thought was gonna be his death. And he was about to pass out after his fight, so he was vulnerable if any stragglers wanted to kill him. I think it was pretty selfless of him to give her a second chance at all tbh.

Am I the only one who thinks Megumi hasn’t changed much if at all from season 1? He’s always indiscriminately chosen who to save or take out. He doesn’t seem any darker or more evil to me in the slightest but maybe I’m missing something?

Think of domains like this: You create this barrier (that black sphere thingy) that surrounds you and your opponent -> you have to populate the content inside that barrier -> the shell acts like a wall that you can paint on -> inside that space you program a “sure-hit” affect. There’s a moment before Yuta takes out Dhruv in the end where his 2 autonomous Shikigami disappear from the scene (I missed it the first watch). And I also realized that they are the same Shikigami we saw when Kenjaku walked out Yuji’s middle school occult club member friend outside of the Sendai Colony when the Culling games first began. So many little details connected across all the episodes!

I don't think anybody is ready for Takaba. 😂 I wouldn't say Megumi has changed, I just feel like he's panicking so he's doing anything, even things that go against his nature. His sister means everything, so he'll still listen to her voice, a voice of reason, to do the right thing. Walking down Remi to kill her would not have been just or right. She's a weakling that has been dragged into the Culling Games and she even got out of his face like he said to do. He threatened her which had her skedaddling outta there, so it was very out of character for him to go after her in the first place.

My guess is Takaba is very broken because he doesn't know it. This show already shown us that restriction on your power gives them boost, as shown with Nanami. So my guess is if he somehow figured out the condition/reasoning for his power, the output is significantly weaker. It also weakened by Takaba himself, he seems to have goofy humor. But tbf if your personality is gloomy, then the power might not be effective either way like Megumi or Yuuji. As I dont think they would ever find death funny. or in the case of megumi, a lot of thing are not funny. So its technically the most op power, maybe even above Infinity. But in practical use, its very questionable in power.

Reggie stated that megumi's other shikigami are one trick ponies, so when they are summoned you pretty much know how they will be used. Demon dog is an all arounder so it's less predictable.

He could realistically say "It would be funny if Yuji and Sukuna could talk face to face outside in thier individual bodies" freeing Yuji.

Bro Ryo has the greatest cursed energy output amongs the players and Sukuna is a player it's just under Yuji's name so he's better at Sukuna in that regard and Yuta who rivals Gojo.
